2010 Reading Report
I’ve gone back and forth on whether or not I really wanted to post my 2010 reading totals this year. For one, it will be glaringly clear that my blogging mojo was off for most of the entire year. I mean seriously, I’ve hardly reviewed anything this year. The blog has been pretty pathetic lately. But yet reading – my reading has not been pathetic. I’m still reading just as much and read a lot of awesome (and a few not so awesome books)!

I feel like I read some fantastic books this year. And if I get my butt in gear, maybe I’ll get a post about where I talk about the best of the best and the worst of the worst! But the best of the year? Lonesome Dove. Ahh, loved it.
Oh – and if you’re a publisher or author expecting a review, you’ll still get one.

Fantastic list! I posted my 2010 list a couple of days ago… I see we’ve read a lot of the same things. I’m giving myself till the end of January to catch up on my 2010 reading.
on January 6th, 2011 at 12:25 pmYou read some great books in 2010. How do you keep track of the books you read?
I didn’t keep track of the children’s books I read (especially the picture books) but I feel I should, especially the children’s books I get for review.
on January 6th, 2011 at 12:55 pmwhich were your favorites of each catagory?
on January 6th, 2011 at 12:55 pmWow, the only book I’ve read on that list is My Sister’s Keeper (which I enjoyed). Here’s my list: http://melydia.zoiks.org/2011/01/year-end-book-roundup-2010/
on January 6th, 2011 at 2:23 pmYou did read a lot of books! I know the feeling on not reviewing as much as you wanted to. This year will be better, I’m sure!
on January 6th, 2011 at 8:58 pmYou did read a lot – nice work! Hey, life happens. I’m so happy that you loved Lonesome Dove so much! I keep meaning to sit down and watch the miniseries at some point for comparison!
on January 6th, 2011 at 10:24 pmI’d also like to know your favorites!
on January 7th, 2011 at 5:03 amI hope you get to your best of list at least…I’d like to read it.
Have a great 2011!
on January 7th, 2011 at 8:18 amDon’t feel bad about it. I still have books I read in 2009 that I never reviewed.
I do want to know if you enjoyed and recommend the following non reviewed books though:
>Expecting Adam: A True Story of Birth, Rebirth and Everyday Magic by Martha Beck (memoir)
on January 7th, 2011 at 8:56 am>Shattered Silence, The Untold Story of a Serial Killer’s Daughter by Melissa G. Moore (memoir)
Eh–some times there are more important things than keeping up with a blog. But fantastic reading year! Not sure how you do it all, Natasha! You seem to have such a great balance between reading and family life.
on January 7th, 2011 at 12:52 pmHi, I just discovered your website, and I’m so excited to thumb through it, especially your reviews of new children’s picture books. Best wishes in the New Year!
on January 9th, 2011 at 2:19 pmThat is a pretty long list of books with some truly amazing titles, i have still yet to read some of them but will get around to it. How do you find the time?
