I felt the same way you did about The Postmistress. I read it early with a group from Barnes and Noble, and was one of the only people to not love it.

Good for you for getting through so much of your TBR list! I am supposed to be making my way through mine this month, but things keep coming up. This motivates me to get back to it. :)

I'm very impressed with you. Making headway on the TBR pile is priceless. It was nice to see you last weekend. Thanks for putting the Utah book bloggers bash together.

MillyMarie - I was not a fan of How Dolly Parton Saved My Life. It was also my first foray into Christian Fiction and sadly, if they are all like that (I'm sure they aren't) then I'm not in a hurry to read more.

Charlie - I will be reviewing it! Thanks for the recommendation for Tiger in the Well.

Kate - I liked The Postmistress but didn't LOVE it. Took me a while to get into but overall it was good.

What did you think of the postmistress? I'm heading over to the library to pick up my reserved copy of that one this morning.

I'd completely forgotten about The Postmistress! Will you be reviewing it? And well done on getting through the reviews!

My favourite summer read... this is where I realise I've read more books than I thought... I think I'd have to say Philip Pullman's Tiger In The Well.

I'm curious about How Dolly Parton Saved My Life by Charlotte Connors. I've been a fan of Dolly's since I was little. ;) I'd love to read Mockingjay reviews, but I'm avoiding for spoilers I won't be able to read the series until probably the holidays. My favorite summer read so far won't be released until Sept. Search for WondLa which I just reviewed. LOVED it. :D
