Utah Book Bloggers Summer Social Invitation
The Utah book bloggers group keeps growing and growing. There are now approximately 65 book bloggers that live in Utah. That is some SERIOUS book love. Combine that with the huge numbers of authors that live here as well and Utah is a mecca for those who love books.
If you are a book blogger, author, aspiring author, bookseller, or publishing industry professional you are invited to attend the (fourth!) Utah Book Blogger summer social on Saturday, August 28th at 6pm at Riverfront Park East at 10991 S. River Front Pkwy in Sandy. This is the same park as last year and I promise that I’ve checked to make sure there are no city events that day to avoid the fiasco we had before. We will be using one of the small pavilions (not the large one) there.
Families are invited. Pulled pork sandwiches and water will be provided. Bring a potluck dish to share, as well as a book to swap.
RSVP by emailing utahbookbloggers (at) gmail (dot) com or tweet @mawbooks, so we can work ourselves up into a flurry of excitement with your attendance. Seriously, I think I was jumping up and down for joy when the RSVP’s rolled in for the last social.
Let myself, Suey, or Becky know if you have any questions. We are really looking forward to hosting this event for Utah Book Bloggers and our local authors. Our socials in the past have been awesome and they keep getting better and better! Don’t believe us (although that’s really a dumb question)?
