48 Hour Book Challenge – And It Is Done
The 48 Hour Book Challenge hosted by Pam at MotherReader is over. I did fantastic for the first 24 hours and not so fantastic for the last 24 hours. Since my last update, instead of reading I prepared a Sunday School lesson which I taught to my girls at church today, attended a church youth conference planning meeting, chatted with my book club over Skype about Day for Night, helped prepare a fantastic Thai dinner with the family and then after eating our yummy dinner (I have to admit that we make the best Thai food!) fell asleep almost immediately. The result is that I’ve only added about two hours to my reading time with 126 pages of The Last Will of Moira Leahy.
So final talley?
- 13 hours read out of 48 hours.
- 4 books completed: Boom, Split, Three Rivers Rising and Trackers.
- 100 pages of Day for Night but now since abandoned
- 126 pages of The Last Will of Moira Leahy.
- Number of book reviews written: 0 (Ha!)
Thanks Pam for a great event! I’m looking forward to the next one.
Next up: Bloggiesta!!! It’s next weekend. If you are a blogger, you are invited! Are you in?
Hey you! Yes. You! I've noticed that you've stopped by to visit a few times! But I don't know who you are. Why don't you take a moment and introduce yourself. Don't be scared. I try not to bite. I know you're a lurker but I'd love to hear your thoughts about what's been bringing you here. And if you haven't done so already, don't forget to never miss a post by subscribing to my feed or receiving updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

It sounds like a great weekend and a successful challenge to me!
