I do the exact same thing. It's so hard to pass up those books that look good, and then they just sit on the shelf until they are due. We just need more time in the day. :)

Another hypercheckoutbibliopedian, here!

My worst problem is with nonfiction, which takes me much longer to read because I like to read a chapter or two at a time and then switch back to fiction. It takes me a month or so to finish a nonfiction book.

So why do I check out like TWENTY nonfiction books at a time?!

I also have a TON of nonfiction on my TBR, even though I read very few of them.

What's wrong with me?

I need to borrow a slow cooker recipe book! I have had my slow cooker for a while but I always tend to cook the same thing over and over!

Enjoy your loot.

I feel your pain. Last year I read 75 books. 64 of those were borrowed from my public library. And I have over 20 checked out right now !!
The Lost has been on my list for a long time. I hear it's really good !

I am the same way w/ reading speed vs. number of books checked out. Sigh.

The Pet Dragon looks like something my kids would like. My post is <a href="http://www.pussreboots.pair.com/blog/2010/comments_02/library_loot_february_17.html" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

I know how you feel. I could probably read all of my library books if they were the only thing I was reading, but with review books and TBR books...
