I was a fiction picture book round one panelist and was really excited to find out the winner for that particular category.  I am THRILLED with an All the World win.  I adored that book to pieces.  I haven’t read The Day Go Brothers yet but must admit that I’m a bit sad that 14 Cows for America didn’t take home the prize for non-fiction picture book.

So what did you think of the winners?  Looks like I have tons of reading to do.

Hey you! Yes. You! I've noticed that you've stopped by to visit a few times! But I don't know who you are. Why don't you take a moment and introduce yourself. Don't be scared. I try not to bite. I know you're a lurker but I'd love to hear your thoughts about what's been bringing you here. And if you haven't done so already, don't forget to never miss a post by subscribing to my feed or receiving updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

  2. I liked All the World as well but my kids just weren’t interested. All the others on the list were requested rereads (besides The Listeners which was out of their age group).
