I'm curious what you think about The Zookeeper's Wife. I've heard good things from a few people on that one. I have Seven Miles to Freedom and really enjoy it. Hope you like that one too!

Oooh Devil in Winter is a great introduction to historical romance, and Kleypas in general. It's part of a series, but it's not a series where you'll be confused without having read the first two.

I loved The Creative Family, probably more than her second book.

My boys are WAY into Scooby Doo right now. I'm a bit burnt out myself.

Oh! You will love The Creative Family! I bought this right after it came out and it has some really great ideas. She also has another one that just came out and I really want to pick it up too.

The Monster Sleepover looks great for my Turkeybird. I can't wait to hear what you guys think of it!

Wow! What a haul! and yes, please review the cookbook. As a compulsive cookbook buyer it's good to know which ones are worth the money.

I completely agree regarding Bad Rats! We had a very similar experience, and I wished I had skimmed it a little more closely before checking it out from the library. My daughters loved both Wolves and Little Mouse's Big Book of Fears.

Devil in Winter is a pretty good choice as an introduction to historical romance, although you do miss out on some of the character growth of Sebastian as he was portrayed in the earlier books in the series! Will be interested to hear what a non-romance reader thinks of it. I do find it a very interesting choice for a non-romance focussed book club to choose!

Hope you enjoy all your loot.

You have several checked out that I want to read as well. I currently only have one checked out from the library as we are in Florida now until Feb 9 and I am really trying to avoid those late fees! :)
