It’s a Book Blogger Convention!
So last year I went to Book Expo America and it was AWESOME!
This year is going to be even more awesome because not only will I be able to go to Book Expo America but I’ll also be able to attend the Book Blogger Convention!
In full disclosure here, I’m totally on the committee and well, let me tell you a secret, *whispers* IT’S GOING TO BE AWESOME! Okay, maybe that wasn’t a whisper, but I’m just a tad excited that we’re pulling this off.
I also want to tell you that I can’t stop looking at that fine looking graphic. Is it weird that I look at it all the time? I think it’s so darn clever! Who do we have to thank for that? My husband! He’s the genius behind the whole thing! I had to share with you how incredibly talented he is.
So everything you need to know can be found over at the Book Blogger Convention Blog as well as on Twitter. The conference will be held on May 28th (immediately after BEA but note it’s not affiliated with BEA) in New York City. Take advantage of the early bird pricin, register early and room up with your blogging buddies. If you are going to BEA, you do NOT want to miss this. If you didn’t think you were going to BEA, well, you might want to start thinking again.
And actually, you don’t have to go to BEA at all. (But why would you do that?)
By the way – we’d love it if you spread the news. Nothing would make me happier than seeing that graphic all over the blogosphere! Which by the way, I’m still admiring . . . .
Can we give some props to Taylor?
Hey you! Yes. You! I've noticed that you've stopped by to visit a few times! But I don't know who you are. Why don't you take a moment and introduce yourself. Don't be scared. I try not to bite. I know you're a lurker but I'd love to hear your thoughts about what's been bringing you here. And if you haven't done so already, don't forget to never miss a post by subscribing to my feed or receiving updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

Yay Taylor! It makes me sad to think about all the fun you guys are going to have, and I won’t be there! I guess I need advice from everyone on how I convince my husband to bankroll a trip like this when I make not one red cent from blogging! I keep thinking “well, maybe I can give up an airline seat and get a free ticket. Then I have to find someone in town that will lend me their couch…”. One of these days I’ll figure it out!
on January 15th, 2010 at 6:05 amAh! I’m so jealous of everyone’s bookie trips! I have to live vicariously through everyone’s posts. I’m still jealous of your BEA loot last year. You just kept pulling books out of that box! I was starting to think it was made of the same material as Mary Poppins bag and it didn’t have a bottom!
The Book Blogger Con looks like it’s going to be as helpful of a learning experience as it will be fun. Did I mention I’m jealous?
on January 15th, 2010 at 6:56 amThe Book Blogger Convention sounds like a great idea. Wish I could be there, but fishing vacation with the DH has to take preference.

I’m going to BEA and Book Blogger Con! I’m so excited!
on January 15th, 2010 at 7:39 amI’m so jealous that I can’t go to the convention – I’m sure you’ll all have sooooooo much fun
) Perhaps I should move to America so I can get to come too lol
on January 15th, 2010 at 10:03 amIt is a gorgeous logo, Natasha! I hope you enjoy the conference.
on January 15th, 2010 at 2:00 pmHip hip hooray for Taylor!
Hip hip hooray for BEA!
Hip hip for Book Blogger Con 2010!
I am loving the graphic, expect to see it all over my blog. I’m cruising on over to the official Blogger Con blog now so I can sign up. This will be my first time at BEA, and I’m really excited. (I’m not really sure what to expect, I’m a little nervous!)
Thanks for the awesome graphic!
on January 15th, 2010 at 2:09 pmWay to go Taylor! He really is amazing! And yeah, I can’t wait! It’s going to be so much fun!
on January 15th, 2010 at 2:33 pmI was actually going to ask who made the graphic. Yay Taylor! It is awesome!
By the way, I’m crazy excited about BEA and BookBloggerCon. I can’t think of much else that would make me leave my baby for 5 nights! I think I’m going to have to let my husband go and take a vacation somewhere after it is over.
on January 15th, 2010 at 3:39 pmI love the graphic, too. Taylor has designed something that totally grabs the meaning, while also looking very cool and elegant.
on January 15th, 2010 at 4:27 pmWonderful artwork. Happy to see you are able to go again. It should be great.
on January 15th, 2010 at 6:52 pmYeah, Taylor. That is such an awesome graphic. Covers it all: location, purpose, who’s there! Off to post the logo on the blog.
on January 15th, 2010 at 8:23 pmStill debating this: husband’s comment was “so you want to spend $90 to go to a big blogging party?” Um, yes dear….
on January 16th, 2010 at 8:09 amI know you already know this but I’m super jazzed for the convention (and BEA)!
on January 16th, 2010 at 7:19 pmWhat a great logo and a great idea. Awesome work!
I don’t formally know any book bloggers so I’m going to use this convention to change that!
on January 16th, 2010 at 8:15 pmOh I really really want to go to this! I’m trying!
on January 17th, 2010 at 11:52 amI will try to keep this in my head to post about this soon!
on January 17th, 2010 at 11:36 pmI do love that logo! Yay to Taylor!
I wish I could go, but there is NO WAY since my daughter is graduating from high school that very day. One of these years maybe I’ll figure it out, but not this one. Oh, well.
on January 18th, 2010 at 11:43 pmThat logo is gorgeous!! I love it
I’ll be at BEA and BBC and I’m ridiculously excited for both. Bravo to you and the other awesome organizers for putting this together. Can’t wait!
