I agree with your thoughts on the characters being the strength. I like that Whitney didn't have the normal cast of characters and that each of them had unique qualities instead of everyone being the same. Glad you enjoyed it. As I read your review I was trying to think of what would jazz up the cover to make it more MG appealing.
