A Penguin Story by Antoinette Portis

Book Cover: A Penguin StoryI really want to share A Penguin Story by Antoinette Portis with you.  It’s so fun.  Great story, great design, great color.  It was so much fun to read.  But how can I even begin to review it when Betsy at Fuse #8 has already written a review which would put  my feeble attempt to shame?  I can’t.  So I beg you to go read her review.

That is all.  Short and sweet.   Because this picture book is awesome and Betsy’s more awesome than I.

  1. I promise to go read the review later (I’m running out the door to take the kids to school) but I just had to comment and express my emotional reaction to that precious picture. How could I not love this book? I love penguins. Of course, I also have the book FU Penguin, but that is a whole different thing!

  4. So neat! Jace’s favorite, and I mean absolute favorite animal, is a Penguin or as he calls it “pangin”. He loves them and this book looks great! I will definitely have to check it out. Thanks!

  6. I really enjoyed this book but my kids basically ignored it. What did your kids think of it? Maybe mine are too old for the book.

re: Cybils – I don’t envy you trying to narrow down that pile. Wow!
