The author is really good at writing action scenes, but I wish that she had slowed down her writing during more mundane scenes. The choppy sentences started to bore and annoy me after a while. The characters also left something to be desired. Katniss was very inconsistant and constantly changed her mind. If she had spent less time repeating herself and more time thinking about her actual problems then maybe I wouldn’t have hated her so much by the end of the book.

This book was only ok. I really liked the story line but the writing itself leaves something to be desired.

I absolutely loved this book. I just finished reading it and when I finally put the book down all I can think of was, what’s going to happen next? What’s in store for our troubled Katniss. There are no words to describe this book, all I can say is that suzanne collins is an absolute genius. I can’t wait till she comes near my town so I can get her autograpgh. This book was definetly worth the wait!
