I’m defenitly one that has to read the books before viewing the movies. And I wanted to read the Time Travelers Wife for ages. So I got that one out of the library, The lovely bones and My Sisters Keeper shipped in (amongst some others). And I was truly overwhelmed by all of them.

I read them each in one day and they still are on my mind. Especially The Time Traveler’s Wife is an amazing piece of work.

I can’t wait for the movies. Non of them (not even My Sisters Keeper) are released in Belgium yet, neither is there a specific release date know. So I’m still waiting…

Ooh, so many good movies! I have three young kids and NEVER get out to movies anymore, but I’d love to see Julie and Julia. I adored the book. And maybe I can take my kids to Wild Things (the title would be appropriate — I have three energetic boys)!

As a massive Harry Potter fan, I wasn’t impressed with the film :’(
And I hate having to say that, because I loved the trailers. I fear I may be nitpicking. I also wanted a massive fight at the end

You know when SPOILER —— Harry got his butt attacked by Snape for calling him a coward ——- SPOILER OVER

I was just thinking pwned.

I also refuse to watch My Sister’s Keeper until I read the book, I’ve read some of it.

It looks like there will be so many great films coming out!

This is the first time I’ve seen the trailer for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! My husband has been telling me about it for a while now. I’m pretty excited to see that one!! My son has been wanting that book read to him every night for the past few nights. Anyways, I didn’t know about a couple of these other movies either. I’m hoping that they will be as good as the books!!

I loved Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The movie looks…interesting? Very different from the book, I think.

Oh Yeah! And Amy brought up “A Christmas Carol”! I saw the trailer in 3D when we went to see “Ice Age”. It looks SO good.

I’m sooooooo excited about “Where the Wild Things Are”. I share your incredulism (is that a word?) with your husband’s lack of knowledge about “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs”! I’m worried about “The Time Traveler’s Wife”. I just feel like it could go horribly wrong. ~sigh~ I’m sad to say I will probably be braving the crouds to see “New Moon”. I saw “Twilight” on opening night My friends and I braved the teenagers together! I am excited for your husband for the “Alice in Wonderland” movie. I know how much he loves Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. I foresee some excellent Halloween costumes in the near future…

I’m excited about pretty much all of those! “The Lovely Bones” looks FANTASTIC, even though I haven’t read the book. “The Time Traveler’s Wife” looks like a beautiful adaptation (and I did, in fact, really like the book). “Julie & Julia,” also looks cute. And I can’t explain my excitement about “Where the WIld Things Are.” The 2nd trailer made it look EVEN BETTER!

(Oh, and of course “New Moon,” and “Alice in Wonderland.” The latter is one of my favorite books of all time so although I’m excited, I’m also nervous.)

There are sooo many exciting movies to see. I am really looking for to The Time Traveler’s Wife and The Lovely Bones. This Friday, I’m leaving the kids at home with my husband and going to see The Time Traveler’s Wife. I am beyond excited.

The Lovely Bones trailer looks amazing!! I don’t know if I can wait to see it.

Great list of all the movies coming out! The only one that I’m not too excited to see (so I didn’t) was My Sister’s Keeper. Once I heard that they changed the ending, I had no desire to see it.
