I agree wholeheartedly with you are saying here. book blogs have changed my reading habits, influenced my buying, and made me happy with towering TBR piles all over my house.

As an author I'm really pleased that you read books and hopefully you'll read mine when it comes out next March. (Tho sometimes I wonder if it ever will, giving birth to children is nothing compared with the business of publishing a book....
)
But what I wonder is, how do you find the time to read all these books. Did you do a speed reading course?

Hi Sandy - it certainly is a great opportunity for me to have a guest post on Maw Books and it certainly will give my blog a boost, although I have already had some lovely book bloggers come by and leave great comments (I just love 'em).

I think the reason that I am doing interviews and having publishers send me books to review after only 3-4 weeks of being up is because I worked really hard. I didn't sit back waiting for it to happen, for publishers and authors to come to me (although that is starting to happen now, which is great), I put myself out there, sent a ton of emails and just researched a lot! It did take time but then I really want my book blog to be a success, like Maw Books. I think Natasha has done amazingly well!

Hi Beth - thanks for your comments. Yes, I do feel very happy at the way my blog is going :)

Hi Rasco - ahh, thanks for the congrats and best wishes :) It so nice of you.

Thanks to all for taking the time to comment. It means a lot to hear from other book bloggers. I will be popping by your blogs to see you all soon. x

Wow, what a great opportunity for a new blogger to guest post on Maw Books! I could have used the boost last fall when I started up! For awhile there, I think only my mom and sister were reading my posts! I am quite impressed at less than one month old, Carolyn is already doing interviews and ARCs!
