I found Angela’s Ashes incredibly inspiring and touching. It’s the type of book that just pops into my head a few times a year, years after reading it.

I’ve been meaning to read McCourt’s books and I think that I have every single one of them on my TBR shelf. I was so sad to hear of his passing. I think that I may need to honor him by picking up one of his books and actually reading it.

My coworker just informed me of this and I can’t believe it. I agree with Ali that it’s hard feel like you didn’t know McCourt after reading his works. I’m sure he’ll be remembered for a long time to come.

I’m so sad to say goodbye to Mr. McCourt, too. It’s hard not to feel like you knew him, after reading his memoirs, isn’t it?
