Bloggiesta Wrap-Up: In Which We Pat Ourselves on Our Backs and a Few Win Books!

Bloggiesta: PedroSorry folks that I didn’t post the Bloggiesta wrap up sooner!  I think I went into a self-induced comatose state after it was over and then had a bit of a staycation.  But I promised that I wouldn’t post anything on my blog until I got this post done, thus the lack of posts for the past two days as I read, tallied up and commented on all the participants posts.

So how did we do with the first blog improvement marathon?  965+ hours of blog improvement from more than 80 participants.  That’s a lot of blogging! Fantastic!  From the blog posts and twitter stream, it seemed that everybody had a fantastic time!  And for some, it was surprisingly so!  I’m thrilled that it was truly a fiesta!

The mini-challenges may have ended up to not be so mini, but they were a huge hit thanks to our great hosts!  I am thrilled with how the Bloggiesta turned out and I can’t wait to host it again.  Perhaps, two times a year?

But there are books to be given away!  And our winners are . . .

Mini-Challenge Winners:

Winner for Most Hours Spent on Challenge:

  • Liyana from Liyanaland – Big surprise!  She spent 48 hours on the 48 Hour Book Challenge, so I was not surprised to see her devote 48 hours (with a couple very, very short naps) on this challenge!

Winner for Most Comments Left on Participating Blogs:

Winners, Just for the Pure Joy of Playing the Game:

Many thanks to our Bloggiesta sponsors!

I am pretty sure I know which of our winners are from Canada and international and which are U.S.  But to be on the safe side though, I won’t assign books to winners until I have your mailing address.  So please contact me, so I can pass on your info to our sponsors.

Thank you everybody for a fantastic Bloggiesta!  Let’s do it again!

Hey you! Yes. You! I've noticed that you've stopped by to visit a few times! But I don't know who you are. Why don't you take a moment and introduce yourself. Don't be scared. I try not to bite. I know you're a lurker but I'd love to hear your thoughts about what's been bringing you here. And if you haven't done so already, don't forget to never miss a post by subscribing to my feed or receiving updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

  3. I was completely out to lunch on this…it was ramping up just as I was leaving for my trip to Poland. I am hoping that I will be around and won’t be entrenched in something my kids are doing next time, and will be able to participate! Really, way to go Natasha for leading the way!
