We were going on a walk the other day and we were able to recite it fairly well. Ali - It would work as a flap book. Ask a question and then see the answer underneath. Jenn M. - No matter what, somebody is going to have a problem with something no matter how innocent it is. I do know people who would have a problem with the whole idea of the word "butt" being used...but you can't please everyone. I got told off once as a teacher because I told everyone to get out their magic glue and glue their 'booty' to the floor. Apparently booty is unacceptable as well. I think this sounds like a great book and I like the video on the previous post. You do have some cute kids! What a diverse author. She sounds like a blast. I love the question about rhyme and tempo. My son loved books that rhymed (even old fashioned nursery rhymes) and would memorize them faster than he would memorize his other books. Great interview.
