Chicken Butt! by Erica S. Perl, Illustrated by Henry Cole
If you’ve got young kids in your house, Chicken Butt! by Erica S. Perl and illustrated by Henry Cole will be a hit!
“Because you know what?
What?
Chicken Butt!”
In this new fun picture book, kids will giggle and laugh over the rhythmic text and comical illustrations. But don’t take me word for it. My three-year-old gives you the review . . .
If you paid really close attention, you could hear my two year old up in the kitchen saying chicken butt too. Well, I can say positively that my kids got a kick out of this book!
Erica will be on tour the rest of the week at Tales from the Rushmore Kid, Motherreader, A Pen and a Nest, Hen Blog, Fuse # 8, Write for a Reader, Chicken Spaghetti, and Three Silly Chicks. Erica is celebrating with a prize drawing of Chicken Butt!, and other fun prizes. To register for the prize drawings, all you have to do is visit any of the participating tour blogs (including this one!) and then leave a comment on Erica’s blog.

I loved reading your interview with Erica, and wanted to read Chicken Butt. But then I noticed your vlog, and clicked. Instantly I was transported to your living room and laughing away with you and your son. Please tell him, now I really, really, want to read the book – and you know why don’t you? (Chicken Butt!)

on May 4th, 2009 at 11:17 amHi Natasha, I enjoy your blog and think you have a very beautiful family! I often wonder with envy how you have time to read and review so many books!!!! I love reading and collecting books too. I just started my own blog for reviewing the books I read and blogging about books, reading and writing. So far I’ve found it to be time-consuming but enjoyable. I also live in the Southwest – in New Mexico. Thanks for publishing this and keep up the great work!

on May 6th, 2009 at 1:10 pmIt makes me smile just thinking about the title!
My little niece and nephew would certainly enjoy this wonderful children’s book.
Please enter my name in your drawing.
Many thanks…..Cindi
Erica Perl needs to put that on he website. That is all the promotion her book needs. Why ask an adult what they think of a book. Ask a 3 year old and you will get a more honest opinion!

Jenn M. – When I went out to review the book, it just didn’t feel right until I realized that I had to “show” how much my little boy liked it. Much better endorsement in my opinion!
