Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon: Update #1 (And it Begins!)

readathoonI’m reading today in Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-Thon! So excited!   If you’re reading this by RSS feed or email why don’t you come on over and do a bit of cheerleading?!  Maybe around two in the morning?  Because, you know, I’ll be pulling my eyes out by then and fighting sleep.  But dang it, I’ve waited to long to do this and I want to be in it for the long haul!  And as a heads up, if all goes well I plan on having about eight updates/posts go up today.

Items of Note

I’m awake at the ungodly hour of six in the morning on a Saturday (at least I hope I’m awake – I scheduled this post!)   Let the party begin!

The Stats

Book Currently Reading: The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling (I want that sense of accomplishment immediately!)
Time Started: 6 am
Time Now:
6 am
Reading For Charity: $5 a book for Save Darfur in honor of April being Genocide Prevention Month (new to the Maw Books Blog?  Check out these posts.)

For some reason, Askimet Spam is giving me a lot of false positives. Even to those who have left me many comments before. Also, if you leave 2 or more links in your comment, it automatically goes into moderation. I'll catch that too.
