Sandy - Well, I do hope you do seek this book out. I would love to sit down with Jennie as well.

Molly and Diane - And those are the words that every author loves to hear!

Kathy - It's easy to have a great interview when there is a lot to discuss!

amy BTW M - That's the title I like best too.

Janet - I haven't read Raising a Reader before. I'd be curious to at least look through it.

Jacky - Why thank you! I must admit that it sometimes takes me forever to formulate my questions. I'm glad you think they are good. Comments like that keeps me going!

Ali - I told my husband about that last scene first and he thought that was amazing (he's trying to write his own book).

Jennie - Thank you for a wonderful interview!

Great interview, Natasha and Jennie! I loved hearing about how you wrote the last scene first. And, fwiw, I like The Threadbare Heart best as a title.

I like the way you seem to instinctively know how to ask the right questions, Maw. I've been interviewed many times in the past and it always griped me: the way the interviewers--none of them--appeared to know how to ask pertinent questions. I always thought: If I were interviewing me I would ask an entirely different set of questions.

While I do like The Encyclopedia of Grief as a title, I prefer A Threadbare Heart. I think the latter sounds more like a fiction book and think of the wonderful cover images you could put with it! It also is a nice tie in if textiles plays a role in it, which it sounds like it will.

Also, I feel a little foolish that the other day I wrote a comment about Raising a Reader and how I enjoyed it and then the first part of this interview Jennie comments on how it wasn't very good. haha Well I liked it. :)

Thanks to Amy for her title vote! And I wish I could have coffee with Sandy, too! At the very least, please email me through my website, www.jennienash.com, if you do get a chance to read my book. I'd love to hear what you think!

Thanks again Natasha. Oh, and this is for Jennie, I liked the title The Encyclopedia of Grief. It seems like something I would pick up. I look forward to reading your books.

You score the best author interviews. I live in the middle of what used to be textile country, so I'm sure there are some textile historians around here, but unfortunately, I'm not one of them.

I just loved this interview. I have not read either of her novels, but I will definitely added them to the TBR pile right now.
