Roald Dahl was such a favorite of mine as a kid. I could not even tell you how many time I read Matilda.
That said, I never read this one. I will have to do so, especially is they are making it into a movie.

I used to love this book! (Still do, I suppose…) I didn’t know they were making it into a movie. With actors like that, at least it sounds like they’re putting in effort to make it good!

I remember enjoying this book. Not quite as much as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but pretty close!

Jupiter – Somehow I made it through childhood without ever reading any of Roald Dahl. So they are all new to me!

Charley – I have the BFG, but haven’t read it yet.

S. Krishna – I’m discovering him for the first time this past year.

Jenn M. – I think the movie will turn out great. I’m sure the audios of these are fantastic. Quick enough books to hold their attention.

Cool about the movie! I own a whole collection of Roald Dahl books, but on a whim I checked out the audio version for the kids in the car. It was a collection of 5 or so stories and every day it was, “No….don’t turn the car off yet!”
