There were a lot of differences….but thats the way most move adaptations are. It wasn’t too bad, but I think someone like my husband, who has read none of the books, will not like the movie. Just a feeling.

• For one they take out so much of the time where Bella and Edwards relationship grows. They kiss once, and Edward spends way too much time trying to scare her off not loving her, the relationship never really builds. If I had never read the book, I would have thought it was just puppy love personally.
• She’s not wearing a sleeveless white eyelet lace shirt as a farewell gesture as stated in the book.
• Phil isn’t with them when they go to the airport, and their whole conversation is supposed to take place in the car not in front of the house.
• Charlie and her talk about hair while in the car, not her new truck.
• Which Jake and Billy actually hand deliver, it’s not already there.
• This leads me to saying that Jake and Bells don’t meet on the beach like they are supposed to.
• The kids aren’t sitting around a driftwood fire were Bella sees the green flames for the first time *which she does again reference in breaking dawn when she notes that the flames in the fireplace of her new cottage are burning green and therefore must be driftwood*.
• No one says anything about surfing in the book.
• Jake doesn’t tell the tribe stories to the extent that he does in the book.
• Bella visits a book store to retrieve a book about the tribe legends instead of goggling them.
• She has a Mac book instead of the old desktop that sits on an old computer desk.
• There’s no rocking chair from her childhood, or yellow lace curtains.
• And the walls aren’t a light blue there dark blue or green that one I didn’t care much about.
• In Port Angeles, Bella is acts actually interested in the dress shopping in the book and later helps them pick out shoes and accessories, while in the movie she’s rather… well not interested.
• The front office isn’t decorated as it should be.
• She doesn’t arrive early on her first day; she gets there when it seems fairly populated.
• She doesn’t sit to look at the map in her truck instead she’s looking while she’s walking.
• We never see her extensive love of books, which plays an important role in later books.
• Eric didn’t seem to have skin problems, that and he introduces himself outside of her first class in the movie instead of in her first class.
• Charlie and Bella don’t eat in a diner every day; Bella’s supposed to cook for Charlie.
• Edward never takes her out of Pe.
• She never faints from the blood drawings in bio.
• Edward doesn’t tell her his family’s secret on the way home from Port Angeles.
• She doesn’t meet mike in pe she meets him in the lunch room.
• and if I do say so myself the waitress who was supposed to be fairly good looking that served Edward and Bella, wasn’t all that good looking.
• we don’t hear about James little coven till the night they play baseball
• and Victoria’s hair is nothing compared to flames
• Rosalie isn’t as slim and slender “sports illustrated” looking in the movie as she is in the book.
• And Alice isn’t all that small or petite and fragile looking, “thin to the extreme” nor is her hair a dark black.
• Ok and the house is not an old house with new looking shutters, its completely modern
• and whereas all the Cullen’s cars in that tiny garage
• all the windows are supposed to be on the back of the house not the front
• Prom is supposed to be in the school gym and Rosalie Alice Emmet and jasper are all supposed to be dancing in the middle of the floor.
• We never learn about Jaspers power.
• Edward never takes Bella up the tree when he first takes her to his house; he’s supposed to take her to Carlisle’s study where she’s to learn about their past and the volturi.
• Oh and Edward in the movie tells Bella their going to meet his family when she’s watching a truck not after she wakes up while they’re in her kitchen eating cereal.
• And Edward in the book promises to show bells why he misses school on sunny days not ok so you figured it out throws her up on his back and shows him, it’s supposed to be a meaningful time not an IMA SCARE YOU RAWWWR!!! Time. It’s a loving thing.
• The real reasons behind Rosalie’s issues with Bella are never introduced.
• Bella’s song isn’t really made a big thing.
• oh and due to the fact Jacob never talks about the wolves she never dreams about Edward standing there and the wolf in her dream, nor if the make more movies when Jacob tells her to think of the old tribe stories to guess what he is, she won’t be able to all he said is that they descend from wolves.
• And mike never comes to break up Jake and Bella’s talk session.
• Nor does he ever show jealousy over Jake.
• The dance studio Bella goes to is supposed to have separate rooms she’s supposed to walk past one window to the next one where her mom supposedly is.
• OOOO AND JAMES NEVER TELLS HOW HE KNEW ALICEEE THAT WAS A BIG ONE that’s supposed to like tie so much stuff closed for Alice, understanding why she can’t see her human life at all why she was left alone.
• We learn almost nothing about any of the characters and there’s almost no time to build relationships.
• Charlie doesn’t threaten to take Tyler’s license away when almost hits Bella, nor does Charlie ever make any rude comments to him; he’s also supposed to be lying down not sitting up. And Edward never says “no blood, no foul”.
• No snow ball fights.
• At prom Bella’s supposed to be wearing heels not a converse though I thought that was cool.
• Charlie never gives bells pepper spray.
• James doesn’t beat up Bella as bad as he’s supposed to.
• The movie James uses to lure Bella there is wrong; it’s not the video from her 12th thanksgiving.
• The hotel decorations are off.
• Charlie rarely calls Bella bells; actually I don’t remember him calling her it at all no one does.
• We never know how much trouble Edward has trying to save Bella in the book.
• Nor does Edward call the nurse to sedate Bella.
• Bella and her mom never talk through email that we’re aware of.
• Mike calls her Arizona.
• And they don’t go on a field trip.
• Edward doesn’t stop traffic so mike can ask Bella to prom.
• We never get to see jess spill on how she likes mike.
• Eric never asks Bella for her playlist.
• Nor is Bella ever considered front page news.
• Bella never goes back to her house; she just goes straight to the dance studio.
• Jessica has dark brown hair not long blonde hair and Angela has light brown hair, not black.

this is a movie someones look at it
but let me say this if i were to do it,
i would have involved stephenie so greatly
i would have picken different actors and done so much differently
but if you had read the book this would basicly be just like that
but on film
almsot an audio version with pictures
but alas this is not my movie
and it is just a move
lol it was enjoyable when i finally stopped complaining
and they dont go on a field trip and edward doesnt stop traffic so mike can ask bella out and we never get to see jess spill on how she likes mike eric never asks bella for her playlist nor is she ever considered front page news

I’m not sure if there is anything I absolutely hated that I have read…not really I don’t think. But if I did, I would want to be able to say I didnt like it without people wanting to kill me.

I would watch out though. Edward might not be able to rip up any other vampires….but teenage twilight fans, thats another story!

And here are some reasons why Twilight should be banned in every country for being such a horrible book.

1. The dialogue and plot is absolutely horrible. Its as if Stephanie Meyer hasn’t reached puberty yet, and her mind is so childish. She might want to take some writing lessons but i doubt writing lessons, and retaking English all over again, isn’t going to help her either.

2. The Edward, Bella love thing is just annoying!!!
*Edward*: Bella no its not your fault
*Bella*: Edward yes it is
*Edward*: Its my fault, I shouldn’t have fallen in love with you
*Bella*: Edward but I love you
STOP!!!where’s the good writing?
And its like this throughout the whole book. Edward stfu, yes it is her fault.

3. What ever happened to the good ol’ vampire stories? Where’s Dracula, Louis, etc (btw they would totally rip Edward to pieces). Stephanie Meyer has ruined the vampire image. Vampires the sparkle like diamonds in the sunlight? That is not a vampire, vampires don’t sparkle, vampires drink peoples blood not caring if they hurt anyone, now that is a vampire.

4. The fangirls. The Twilight fangirls put all other fangirls to shame. period. C’mon rise up and defeat the horrible demon that is called twilight!

This is just my opinion on the Twilight series, and as everyone knows, everyone has their own opinions. And right now I know I have to watch my back because some crazy fangirls are probably going to come after me.
