I've read all the finalists for the Young People's Lit category. What I Saw and How I Lied wasn't my *favorite* of the bunch. But it was an enjoyable enough read. Have you read The Underneath or Chains yet?

I haven't heard of any of these but I'll be on the lookout for them now to see what kind of reviews book bloggers give them. Then maybe I'll add them to my TBR list.

Yikes! I haven't heard of any of these except for Home, which I probably won't read because I didn't like Gilead. Thanks for sharing, Natasha!

Jen - The only ones I'm familiar with are the Young Adult ones.

Janssen - I have What I Saw on hold at the library, have Disreputable in the review pile and am very excited to pick up chains. I've had it on hold for two months.

Jeanette - What I Saw has been on order from our library for about three months. I'm thinking now I'll actually get it now.

Ali - We just talked about Disreputable at a book club that I went to last night. Everybody liked it.

Shelly - Welcome!! I'm so glad you've left a comment. I'm also glad you like the recipes. I have enjoyed making them as well.

Just wanted to stop in and say that I'm so glad I found your blog today. I think it's great that you post recipes with your reviews...that is so outside the box. :-) I LOVE IT!! I will even be using some of them. I will certainly add you to my feeds.

The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks is definitely one of the best YA books I read this year, but I haven't read the others to compare.

I've been trying to track down What I Saw and How I Lied but none of the libraries around here have it. Maybe now that it has won this award they will order some copies.
I've read The Underneath and have Chains and Frankie Landau Banks checked out from the library right now.
I'd also like to look into the Non-Fiction winner.

I read What I Saw earlier this month and didn't particularly love it. I LOVED Disreputable History though. I'm reading Chains right now and enjoying it.
