Let’s Party! It’s Book Blogger Appreciation Week!

Book Blogger Appreciation WeekIt’s here!  Book Blogger Appreciation Week!  Let the fun begin!  The party can be found over at My Friend Amy .  If you’re not subscribed to her blog, I highly recommend that you do so you don’t miss out on any of the fun this week.  She’s got a million things planned.  There are no less than a thousand giveaways going on which you can find all the details here.  How I wish I could host a giveaway, especially considering that I was nominated in the Most Extravagant Giveaway category.  Truth?   I’ve realized that there just not enough hours in the day and that I can’t do it all.  Especially this month.  Who knows, I may totally change my mind.  But, it’s not to late to enter my 100,000 visitors giveaway for a $10 giftcard and it’s not to late to get involved in Reading & Blogging for Darfur which will put you in for a whole slew of great prizes at the end of the month.

Plus, we’ll find out the winners for all of the nominated blogs this week.  To tell you the truth, I’m really anxious.  Nothing like a suspenseful week.  I’m looking forward to the big reveals in all the categories.  The awards will be announced throughout the week at different blogs.  The full schedule is here.  The Most Extravagant Giveaways will be announced on Chris’s blog at Book-a-Rama on Wednesday evening and Amy at My Friend Amy will be announcing the Most Altruistic Blog on Thursday night.  I’m nominated for both.

Also check out all of the other great book bloggers here.  I’m seriously looking forward to what’s in store for us for the rest of the week!  It’s time to party!

On a sidenote, it’s going to be a busy couple of weeks here on the Maw Books Blog.  Not only am I reading a TON, but I hope to have a lot of great posts coming up, including guest posts from Christina Meldrum, J. Scott Savage, and interviews with Shannon Hale, Kirby Larson, James Dashner and Leslie Patricelli.

Hey you! Yes. You! I've noticed that you've stopped by to visit a few times! But I don't know who you are. Why don't you take a moment and introduce yourself. Don't be scared. I try not to bite. I know you're a lurker but I'd love to hear your thoughts about what's been bringing you here. And if you haven't done so already, don't forget to never miss a post by subscribing to my feed or receiving updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

  6. I’m excited about this week as well but it is quickly becoming very overwhelming! I want to do a giveaway as well, but I’m afraid it will get lost amongst all the other great ones.

  7. Yeah, no sweat on your participation in BBAW. You’ve got lots happening this month!

I was wondering when your next (weekly?) overview of what you’ve accomplished will be posted.

For some reason, Askimet Spam is giving me a lot of false positives. Even to those who have left me many comments before. So if you leave a comment, hit submit, and it seems to go the way of the wind, don't resubmit it. I'll catch it and publish it. Also, if you leave 2 or more links in your comment, it automatically goes into moderation. I'll catch that too.

I love and invite your comments. I thrive on them. But by posting a comment, you agree to not post off topic, defamatory, obscene, abusive, or use language that is not family friendly. I have the right to remove such comments and prevent you from leaving comments in the future. That said, comment away!
