100,000 Visitors!! Let’s Celebrate!
I started the Maw Books Blog in October of 2007. And nobody was reading it. When I started tracking my stats on December 14th, I had 1-10 visitors a day, sometimes zero. I remember when I hit 30 a day and I thought oh my gosh, who are these people?! It’s been a good ten months since those slow days of December because I’m about to hit my 100,000 visitor! A slight improvement from one hit a day, huh? A BIG THANK YOU for everybody who has helped make this little blog a big success. I wish I could name everybody by name, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin. I do have to mention my sister Leisa, because without her this thing wouldn’t have even made it off the ground. Thanks big sis.
Let’s celebrate!! So when I drafted this post on September 3rd, I had 84,894 hits. Anybody venture to guess the day that I’ll hit 100,000? The first person to correctly guess the day (or closest to it) that I pass 100,000 hits will win a ten dollar gift certificate to the online bookstore of their choice (I know, I know. It’s not much, but you’ll take it right?). Open to everybody who has an email I can send the gift certificate through.

I’ve thought about keeping track of my stats but I’m too lazy to figure out how to format my template to do so (I’ve looked it up and registered but didn’t want to mess with the rest). Oh well!
