To Karina, and Rachel: How, in any way, could you find this book boring in the least? Maus is a recalling of what Art's father had to go through during the holocaust. The things he went through could be summed up as wonderful, horrible, disgusting, sad, insane, tragic...The list goes on, but one word you'd never find, not in a million years, within that description is the word BORING! Perhaps your useless minds, and by extension, lives, were not able to percieve this tale as it was fully intended, but I for one would appreciate it if you could keep such ridiculous comments to yourself. Just hope that you achieve as much in your entire lives as Art, and his father may have achieved during a day of theirs. Thank you :)

I read the books when they originally came out so I don't recall the illustrations. It could have been intentional to make them simple and not dynamic since the story is more important than how it's told; the use of drawings certainly makes the subject matter more palpable for some readers.
