No wonder the story world feels so real and the characters come alive. This interview is a like a writing course! Thanks so much, both of you, for taking the time to do such a great interview. Also, I loved that message, that we shouldn't make promises to our kids that we can't keep. That is a big one in my mind. I've always tried to live that way with my kids. I never wanted them to wake up one day and find I'd lied to them. And when their dad died of cancer of last year, I think one of the reasons they did so well with it was that we never lied to them about it. Thanks! Wow!
