Well, I won’t be readng this book. I just finished up a book written in 1999 by another author and guess what? It was about aliens that took over human bodies, not as slugs mind you, because the world was in such a big mess and needed to be cleansed. The aliens came to clean it up and clean it up they did. Sounds a little too similar to Ms. Meyer’s book the Host. Also, calling the aliens Souls sets my teeth on edge. Please…..Souls?….Really….that was the best idea for a name? I dunno….I thought we already had souls as humans unless she’s going for some deeper meaning in her book that we all missing. Like we’re fighting with our darker inner self and will it win out against our moral self that people generally see.

Anyhow, the premise of her book sounds so similar to the one I’ve just read. I guess it’s true there is nothing new written under the sun. I do have high standards for Ms. Meyer as she is an uber bestselling author. I would like the work to reflect the level of fame she’s achieved.

i browse in the internet many times to have a free copy of stephenie meyer’d book and fortunately i found this contest. i don’t have an idea about this book ” Host” but i found it interesting. i hope i can get a copy.

i am a fan of twilight but when i finished twilight i got the book the host but i did not eaven know what it is about i thought that every book that is by stephany meyer is nice so i read the first book then stoped reading it. i stil dont know if it is nice

the host and the tiwlight light books rock. i think that the host is the best book that she made so far! i just really love the action in it and the way you can feel as if what happens in the story came true. meyer is one of the best authors of this century!

I enjoyed the book, i never really found it too wordy or too descriptive at any points. i thought the relations between the characters and the psychological struggles were done very well. [spolier] ultimately, i found that the ending was a little bit poor for me. i thought that the right ending happened 20 pages before the real ending to the book. I thought that the book should have ended on the operating table, when she faded off after saying goodbye to everybody. I was very touched by that ending, it demonstrated the selflessness and sacrifice of Wanda and how much she cared for those around her and inside of her. The additional two chapters where she gets a new body and whatnot seemed a little too much for me and hurt the overall mood for the end of the book. I thought that ending was a little bit too predictable and it didn’t have the same feeling that the one i wished for did. [end spoiler] Ultimately, i found the book to be pretty good and i would recommend it, i just thought that the ending made it a pretty good book and not a great book.

I loved your bok host and hope there will be another book on wanda in her new body. I have not as of this moment read any of the twilight series but i will if not for any thing else just to see the differance styles of writing you used. thank you for a good book it one kids can read. Keep up the great writing i will be waiting for more to come out.I use to get into all the V.C. Andrew book and wish she had not died she was a real good writing and it seem like i will be adding you to my collection.I borrowed the host from the libary and went right out and bought it when i was done reading it.It now has a home with all my V.C.Andrews book good luck.

I totally loved the host.
I loved all the characters and hope that you decide to write another one to continue. it was the coolest alien book that i have ever read. I really liked Ian, even though Jared sounds better looking, I really think he is a gentle man. do you think it would become a movie? i mean i really love that Twilight is becoming a movie, but the host would be the best alien movie to go and see, but make sure you have a really cute guy playing Ian, and Jared. I loved all the twilight books and hope that I win the competition becasue I really don’t think my friend will let me borrow her books anymore, I have read tham dozens of times. I cant wait till the movie comes out, it will be so much fun to watch the cullens on screen instead of picturing them all in my head, even though I like doing that because you can day dream about Edward all day long!!!

okay so this book is my favorite book ever, it’s the greates story. You may not see it as i do but it IS a love story and truly shows what it means to be human more than it does show the sci-fi part so people who don’t like sci-fi this truly is the book for people to start liking it. I am in absolutely love with this book. I read it starting at 8pm and as soon as i turned the last page i looked up to see it was 5:30am!!!!
It was that good!!!!
