Wow, the month of May brought in about 4,500 keywords to the Maw Books blog. As I do each month, here are the ones that I picked out (which is way too many, I really need to start cutting these down, but I like answering the questions):

  • are stephenie meyer’s books okay for adolescents? I think so. In fact, I think they are about as clean as they can get.
  • aslan maw Hmm . . . interesting. The only think I can think of is Aslan from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
  • awards won by twilight and stephenie meyer Um, wow. Put this into Google and I’m the number two hit, right under Stephenie Meyer’s site, and above twilight lexicon, MTV, and all kinds of fan sites. Twilight has received the following awards: School Library Journal Best Books, 2005, YALSA Best Books for Young Adults, 2006, YALSA Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers, 2006

  • brandon dicamillo’s wife I know of a Brandon Mull or Brandon Sanderson and Kate DiCamillo but I’ve never heard of Brandon DiCamillo nor his wife.

  • does anybody know when midnight sun by stephanie meyers is being released Stephenie does not currently have a contract for this book but she hopes that one day it will be published. Read about it in her words on her website.
  • does anybody know what ashram elizabeth gilbert was at If I remember correctly, she didn’t want to say for fear that they would be inundated with people wanting to visit. I understand some people have, but I’m not sure the name.
  • elizabeth gilbert where did she go to college The biography on her website just said that she went to college in New York, but didn’t say which one.
  • f word “curious incident of the dog in the night-time” There is a great discussion going on about that in my review here.
  • fictional breast slapping Wow, another one.

  • if you have only one ovary and one fallopian tube does that mean you have a unicornuate uterus NO. A unicornuate uterus means that only one half of your uterus is formed. Only having one ovary and one fallopian tube is not the same thing, although it’s common for a woman with a unicornuate uterus to only have one ovary and one follopian tube.   • in book breadwinner what is mother’s name Funny. When I Google this, my blog keeps coming up. I can’t remember if Deborah Ellis gives her a name I think she’s just referred to as Mother. I know that she purposely did not give the family a last name so as to not get any innocent people in trouble with the taliban.

  • is austenland a movie No. But I think it would a fun one.

  • is stephenie meyer coming out with a new book? She just came out with The Host and Breaking Dawn is coming out August 2nd.
  • is number the stars fiction or non fiction It is fiction, but based upon true situations. My review.

  • is the movie the devil’s arithmetic scary I didn’t think it was scary. But it was emotional and sad. I have a YouTube clip of the movie here.

  • if i only read one book this year it should be What is the What by Dave Eggers was the one that I read first this year that I thought everybody should read. I’ve since read several that I think should be the one book you should read, including Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust by Immaculee Ilibagiza, Slave: My True Story by Mende Nazer, The Translator by Daoud Hari, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, Sold by Patricia McCormick. I could go on and on and on and on but you did just ask for one.

  4. Great list – I had a skim through mine and they were all pretty normal – apart from someone who asked Google – “Why is to kill a mockingbird my favourite book?” I know Google is mighty and powerful but do people think its an oracle??
