Oh wow – oh wow – I wasn’t planning on watching the movie…didn’t think it could be as good as the book. Maybe I was wrong.
Wow, oh wow…
on May 5th, 2008 at 7:05 pmWow! I can’t wait to watch this movie! Thanks for sharing.
on May 5th, 2008 at 7:22 pmI actually just finished the book today, very happy to see this trailer!
on May 5th, 2008 at 7:41 pmOK, sign me up! I will truly enjoy this movie. I have loved the books!
on May 5th, 2008 at 8:46 pmWow, this looks good, I’m going to watch out for that!
on May 5th, 2008 at 10:11 pmI know! So far, it’s looking better than I thought it would be. And Edward is exactly as I pictured him to be. Hope it turns out well.
on May 5th, 2008 at 10:17 pmOH.MY.GOD. I’m going to die waiting for the movie now. I’ve just watched that trailer four times in a row.
on May 5th, 2008 at 11:10 pmOH MY GOD
IT LOOKS SO EPIC!
i cant wait to see the movie. i prits much just watched the trailer like 10 times in a row.
BAHA its so intensee.
on May 5th, 2008 at 11:21 pmhaha! this trailer IS addicting! I think i’ve watched it 6 times!
on May 6th, 2008 at 4:11 amThanks so much! Did you catch the “making of” video on the MTV website?
on May 6th, 2008 at 6:19 amat the risk of sounding WAY out of touch … who is the author of this book? I’ve never heard of it, and the trailer is fascinating!
on May 6th, 2008 at 10:47 amHeather – Stephenie Meyer is the author. There are three books in this series: Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse with a fourth coming out in August called Breaking Dawn. If you haven’t read them, you hate them or love them. But it’s worth a try.
on May 6th, 2008 at 12:29 pmWow! There is a creepy feel to it that I didn’t get from the book but I’m not sure why. It is about vampires, duh!
on May 6th, 2008 at 1:05 pmOhh, I can’t wait to see this movie.
Thanks for visiting my site during Weekly Geeks! Wasn’t that a fantastic idea of Dewey’s?
From one country music fan to another,
on May 6th, 2008 at 8:22 pmCheers,
-Em
Thanks for sharing the trailer. I just can’t wait. At first, I wasn’t sure about their choice for Edward, but I think this guy is it!
on May 7th, 2008 at 4:34 am????OMG??? I cant wait to go see the movie!! Robert Pattinson as Edward was a great choice for his role in the movie????
on May 7th, 2008 at 6:06 amHe looks the Edward of my imagination when he gives Bella “the look” just after stopping the car from hitting her. Wow. Can’t wait! (The grinning Edward that we see just before he takes off “flying” with her is a little weird, but still… I’m liking it!)
on May 7th, 2008 at 4:14 pmOMG!! this movie looks amazing…me and my freinds have read the books over and over agian and now we cannot wait to see it when it comes out
!!!!!
on May 7th, 2008 at 5:26 pmHmmm… I can already see that some scenes have been altered… the mood of the movie seems a bit different from tbe books, but it still doesn’t look too bad.
on May 7th, 2008 at 7:28 pmI admit, I’m not a big fan of the book, though many of my students love it.
I do think I would make a fun movie.
I’ve also tagged you. I hope you like tags.

I JUST read Twilight last weekend and could NOT put it down! I mean, what a great “obstacle” for a romance, right? And yes–the book did not feel scary at all, though the trailer does a little… I hope the movie works as well as the book! Thanks for posting the trailer!
on May 8th, 2008 at 7:09 pmHmm, I wasn’t sure I’d like Pattinson as Edward, but he seems to be doing an okay job here! I’m looking forward to the movie!
on May 8th, 2008 at 9:30 pmI love seeing everybody’s reaction to the trailer!
on May 8th, 2008 at 9:52 pmI’m resisting the temptation to watch the trailer, since I’m in the middle of listening to “Twilight” on audiobook. I have to admit, though, that “Cedric Diggory” isn’t what I imagined while listening to the book.
on May 10th, 2008 at 10:00 pmCarrie – My mother-in-law won’t watch the trailer either, although I wish she would! Don’t picture Cedric Diggory, he certainly didn’t look it in the trailer!
on May 11th, 2008 at 8:36 pmSo excited! love the books so much. I read twilight twice in the first week. Now Im onto the other 2 for the second time in a month. I wish the movie was coming out sooner!!
on May 14th, 2008 at 8:23 amI am glad you pointed me here – as it looks like a good movie to see – and I really have never heard of it…
Thanks
on May 14th, 2008 at 9:37 amBenny
Okay, I watched it! Oh my goodness. I must say, the movie looks a lot scarier than the book was for me. If Edward is that eerie, what will James be like? Eek!
on May 14th, 2008 at 10:20 pmI haven’t read the Twilight books yet. *blush* Hopefully I will get to read them before the movie comes out! The movie looks exciting.
on May 14th, 2008 at 11:39 pm[...] times I gasped and covered my mouth in horror. I then headed over to Natasha’s blog to watch the movie trailer she posted earlier this week, and that I resisted watching until I finished the book. (The film [...]
on May 15th, 2008 at 7:54 am[...] On the Twilight movie, Stephenie said that she thinks everybody was cast perfectly and that they are all amazing actors. She’s obviously very excited. Watch the Twilight trailer here. [...]
on May 18th, 2008 at 11:43 pmOMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in love with the books!! And I cannot wait to see the movie. I watched the trailer about a hundred times..and i still watch it everyday! Kullen Lutz is sooo hot in this movie! Amazing choice for Emmit!!
on May 20th, 2008 at 7:43 amTarie – I’d be curious to know what you think of the books. Definitely read them before the movie.
on May 21st, 2008 at 1:01 pmi am really happy and excited to see the movie i have read the book all i can say is i am dieing to see the movie and any one do you have a guss on the 4 book of twilght?
on May 27th, 2008 at 8:56 pmKery_j – The fourth book of the Twilight series is called Breaking Dawn and it will come out August 2nd of this year. I believe that they will be unveiling the book cover at the end of this month (which is this week).
on May 27th, 2008 at 10:23 pmOMG i cannot wait till this is going to be out, i am so going to the first showing. edward is so freaking HOTT!!!
on May 28th, 2008 at 7:29 amI haven’t seen the trailer yet (I’ll avoid everything until I’ve read the book), but whenever I see Twilight Trailer I read Twilight Twailer.
on May 28th, 2008 at 4:00 pmomg i cannot wait for the movie i cried watching this trailer i love the books thats all i read lol
on June 5th, 2008 at 3:13 pmThis trailer/books are so intoxiating. I think I’ve read the series… well a lot, enough to almost know it by heart. These books are timeless and an epic love story that will be re-read over and over agian for years to come. I am truly addicted if anyone cant’t tell.
on June 12th, 2008 at 1:22 pmShelby – I have a feeling that you’ll be watching this more than once.
Trish – He, he.
Dakota – Wow. You’ll probably bawl during the movie then.
Brittany – Hmm . . . I couldn’t tell.
on June 14th, 2008 at 4:31 pmI like it but its strange
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:21 amcheesy maybe?
and since when do vampires fly?
And a deer?
EDWARD EATS MOUNTAIN LION!
spunk is hot the whole thing except the first scene with the whole 17 thing
You know, I started seeing all of these trailers and news articles on the movie and it made me move all the books up on my TBR list. It’s a good thing I did because I ended up going out and buying all of the books so I could read them without waiting for the library to get them for me.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:32 amI am oh so ready for the movie to be out. I think it is going to be great…but it also looks TOO serious. Stephenie Meyer usually has a bit of comedy quirks in her novels and i hop that they add some of the comedy to the movie!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:33 amThis trailer was amazing but it makes it even harder waiting until december to see it! I love how everything looks and believe it is going in the right direction, the only thing I was a little disappointed about was that you didn’t see any of the Cullens (only Emmett for like 2 seconds)anyway i loved the trailer and have watched at least 25 times!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:34 amI am definately going to see the movie!
I hope that it is really good. Small things like a change of location from the book to the movie bother me, but I can push through that if the overall story is good.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:38 amI am planning on going to see the movie opening night!! But I am a bit worried about Cam’s acting. I’ve seen him act before and it is great but to me it seems that he is forcing his lines in the fight clip.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:38 amWell, I guess we wont know until we see it! I wonder if they will make a second one if the first doesnt do the book justice? Hmmmm.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:41 amI can’t wait for the movie. I think it’s going to be great.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:46 amlooks great, but I am always disappointed by movies after reading books, my latest would be The Golden Compass…and….
entry #4! YAH!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:50 amTwilight? What’s Twilight?! *runs in circles*
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:55 amI do hope that was sarcastic. However, I’ll share my opinions on the movie trailer.
From what I see, I think Emmett got too big a part. “She’s not one of us?” to cliche.
I don’t think they did a good job with the eyes, either. Too dark.
They also messed up Edward’s room. It’s WHITE. For goodness sake!
I hate Kristen Stewart as Bella. Hate hate hate HATE.
I have watched the trailer so many times… mostly in HD. Twilight Tuesdays are my friends. Did you see the post where Larry dissected the scenes? Wow.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:58 amThis trailer is a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Although the mtv clip was a little corny, this totally makes me want to go to the midnight release. Not that I wouldnt have before :-p
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:03 amI cannot wait for the movie. I am really scared that even with the fantastic movie crew and producers and directors that the movie will leave out parts of the book (which is enevitable seeing as you can never get the whole book made into a movie take the other boelyn girl for example or else it would be 6 hours long….though that may not be a bad idea hahaha) and that it will leave something to be desired. However, I think that the trailer looks amazing and that we will be impressed with the movie.
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:05 amLOVE it! I think they did an amazing job with the casting. I LOVE who they chose for Bella. The only one’s I’m not sure about are Rosalie and Esme. Rosalie is supposed to be absolutely, knock-your-socks-off, drop dead gorgeous, and I don’t think she is. Pretty, yes. But not Rosalie pretty. The trailer is amazing (i think
)
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:05 amI am definately going to watch it! The actors and actresses are pretty perfect! I think they’re going to do a great job, even with any modifications they might make. It’s going to be a long six more months to wait for the movie!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:20 amI LOVE IT!!!!! I have seen the trailer alot cause all of my friends love Twilight (just not as much as me). I told all of them about Twilight and now we sit around somethimes and just talk about the book and how we can’t wait to see the movie.
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:26 amI can not WAIT for the full trailer or the movie. That was the best 52 seconds of my life. I’ve seen that trailer like a million times now! I just read the chapter where she finds out hes a vampire last night and even though its different, I still think the movie will be amazing.
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:34 amI am definitely watching the movie when it comes out on December 12 later this year. I just wished that December was already here
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:36 amugh, let me restart my heart. Man, Robert looks to good playing edward. and his accent is like gone! I mean, when hes says “awhile” just blew me away. and that look he came bella after the van accident made my heart literally stop. The chemistry between them on set and off set is unbelievable. i cant wait for the movie to come out. I now for a fact they will do the movie justice. Catherine is an amazing producer.
And people need to realize that this movie is just an adaptation to the book. everything isnt gonna be the same.
but one thing is for sure, im gonna need to bring a paperbag. maybe two. lol
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:38 amI can’t wait for the movie, Stephenie Meyer has said such good things about it!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:40 amahh! I’m so excited! and I have a feeling this movie will do better than harry potter xD
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:41 amI can’t wait for the movie, it’ll be great!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:42 amsoooooo excited. my best friend started a twilight club at my hs, and we’re gonna try and get a private screening. i think i’ll porbably wear a costume to it.
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:44 amI LOVE THE TRAILER!!!it gives it a mysterious edge!!!!! and it brings out the tensity between Edward and Bella!!!this clips is so amazing!!!!!!!! i LOVE watching it!!!! Twilight will definatly KICK Harry Potters but at the box office!!!!!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:44 amI really want to see the movie, even though I know that it wont do the book justice.
I think they will cut too much, but it will still be okay. Im overall pleased with the actors.
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:46 amI can’t wait for the movie to be release…
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:53 amAlthough i do have one negative comment about the teaser trailer (sorry i know i am a party popper but still)
Bella never had pepper-spray it is mention in the Port Angeles Chapter that she never carries it with her. Anyways that is just my opinion.
Please enter me to win the contest!!!
Ohh man! I thought that the movie might be better than the book, but I can’t be sure, the people they casted don’t look like the people in my head, but I’m fine with that. I think that they chose really good people for the roles and now I cannot wait to see the movie in December. This teaser trailer makes the movie look so good.
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:54 amI love the trailer! I think it was put together well. I just hope the movie is good…I’d hate to be dissapointed about this book.
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:57 ami think that the movie is gonna be AWESOME! but im gonna get soo mad when they just have little things wrong! like bella never had an i-pod. and in the sneak peek… bella wasnt unconsious, her leg wasnt broken, she wasnt suppose to see the fighting, i didnt see james bite her hand, james wasnt suppose to be holding the camera, and when she tried to run he was suppose to kick her not slide her! but oh well, its still gonna rock!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:59 amI am totally going to watch the movie! I have seen the trailer a million times, and it looks great. I hope Robert Pattinson is as good an Edward as I hope he will be.
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:02 amI don’t know if I will watch the movie or not. The books are so wonderful and I don’t think a movie can capture how great they are.
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:07 amSweet! I love watching the trailer! The Edward and Bella chemistry is really there. I am for sure going to watch the movie this December.
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:07 amHey yeah I’m gonna watch the movie! A-matter-a-fact I’m gonna see it five (or more) times! wOOt! The only thing I’m a little iffy about are the graphic- but besides that it looks amazing! wOOt!
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:08 amI can’t wait for the movie to come out! December 12 is too far away!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:09 amI loved the trailer. (I screamed and screamed and scream and… with joy when I saw it.) I’m still not sure if Rob is the right Edward but i’ll have to give him a chance. I am going to do what ever I can to see it the DAY it comes out. Maybe see it a few more times. We also saw the MTV scene (more screaming) I liked it for the most part. I just need to understand that the movie will most likely do a few things that upset me.
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:15 amPlease add me to the contest.
I can’t wait for the movie, but the movie will never be able to compare to the books.
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:19 amHoly crap! of course im going to watch the movie!!! i really think that catherine and everyone that has to do with the movie is really supportive of the book and admires stephenie’s work. I hope that bella’s lulaby is amazing, escpecially if rob wrote it. I CANT WAIT!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:38 amI am def. going to see this movie! It looks to me like they have the right idea and know what they’re doing. I really hope it turns out! It’s gotta be a lot of pressure on the whole cast and crew of twilight with the whole twilight fan base on there back!
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:53 amwow wow
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:54 ami luv rob’s american accent its so dreamy!!!
the movie looks good and am still waiting 6 months to go watch it and i don’t care if i have to wait 4 or more hours in line looking at this it’s worth it
I think that this could possibly be the coolest thing to see ever! It’s so awesome to acctually see the book brought to life. I think that all of the cast is doing a wonderful job. Even the trailor has lines directly out of the book and that’s what really excites me. I’m glad that they didn’t have to change everything. I mean, I know that some of it is changed because it’s a movie, but the first line about Edward being 17 is directly out of the book! It may not be in the same location, but still. I’m very very excited for this! My sister and I already have plans to watch the movie at midnight on December 12th! I can’t wait! =]
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:54 amI am so very excited for this movie!!! I don’t want to get my hopes up too much an think it’ll be the greatest movie ever, but any chance to see two people portraying Edward and Bella is bound to be AMAZING!!!! I cannot wait, we have a big group of over 20 of us going to see it at midnight, can’t wait!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:56 amI’ve watched this trailer fifteen times. I LOVE IT!!!! My friends and I are all going to go see the movie together. We can’t wait.I was kind of mad when they first announced plans for a movie, but now I’m so excited!
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:03 amOkay, one word for when I saw this: WOW. I was so anxious about them making a movie until I saw this trailer. I keep going to the movies to try and catch it in on the big screen.
I adore it! Especially the crooked smile Rob gives Kristen when he says “You really shouldn’t have said that…” It’s exactly how I picture Edward.
Now I can’t re-read the books without seeing them.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:05 amIt’s great to see actual footage after seeing so many filming pictures from fans! I’ve recently reread Twilight and can’t wait to see it on a huge move screen.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:08 amI have watched this trailer SO many times, I’ve lost track. I even downloaded it for my ipod to watch on the go. I guarentee I will be at the midnight showing, first one in line.
Ps. thanks for hosting such an awesome drawing!
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:15 amI could not believe my eyes when i saw this video! i got a text telling me to go and see it around 10 and i was dead tired…. but as soon as i got to my computer and watched it i was wide awake! i watched it 7 times in a row–HD– and then i went to look for screen caps until 1. im so twilight obsessed i dont even think its healthy anymore, haha
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:17 amThe trailer made it look like more of a horror movie. But I still wanna watch the movie. More excited for Breaking Dawn, though.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:18 amI was literally bouncing in my seat and not breathing when i saw this.lol
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:25 ameeeppp!!! i totally can’t wait!!! the trailer is just soooo good!!! my mom and i saw it in the theatres and literally jumped up and screamed. ya, people were staring. but its just sooo perfect!!! yay!! can’t wait till 12/12!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:26 amI have NEVER been excited for a movie before, and now here I am watching the Twilight Trailer for the 258th time. Yes, I am Twilight Obsessed.
P.S. Robert Pattinson looks so good here.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:28 amI am so going to watch the movie ! I loved the trailer, and was screaming and running around when I first saw it .
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:35 amKristen and Rob did such a good job of making this movie come to life : )
I’ve already watched the trailer about twenty times. It just amazes me. There are a few details that I don’t like, but I’m still excited and I already know the movie won’t be exactly like the book. The only part that I really didn’t enjoy was Emmett saying, “She’s not one of us.” It was kind of weird and cliché. But that’s okay, it’s still not a really big thing.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:40 amI am in love with Robert Pattinson. I really am. He’s so unbelievably gorgeous! He totally looks like my image of Edward. ‘Kay, I’ll stop fangirl-ing now.
Favorite parts of the trailer: When Emmett growls sexily, “She’s not one of us!” When Edward is leaning in cautiously to Bella for their first kiss. When Edward saves Bella from getting crushed beneath the van and they stare into each other’s eyes, and Edward knows he has revealed his secret to a human.
December 12 seriously cannot come fast ehough. I’m going to be hyperventilating and swooning the entire movie, I just know it! =]
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:45 amI am so stoked to see this movie! The trailer gave me goosebumps, lol. I hate winter and cold and snow… but December 12th can’t come fast enough.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:49 amOME! I have this on my ipod and i watch it like 7 times a day! I love it! I think that it’s interesting that they’re portraying it as a thriller rather than a romance. I will DEFINITELY go see it! Me and a group of friends are seeing the first showing! Hopefully…
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:54 amI’m pretty sure that I had a mini-swoon when I saw this, like I do everytime I watch Goblet of Fire. I think it’s a Robert Pattinson thing.
And I have to say, I had my doubts about him being able to talk with an American accent, but he pulled it off!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:07 amI love the trailer. Especially Edward’s face after he stops the car, it’s kind of like ‘What did I just do?’ I think the movie should be excellent, even if it’s not exactly the way it is in Twilight. I think the characters they picked are great too, and I can’t wait to go see it 10 times!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:07 amthis movie is going to be fantastic!!! I love CATHERINE i think she will do an amazing job. An the actors are doing so well from what I can tell. I am really exited.
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:11 amOMG. I love the trailer! I have watched it around 100 times already. lol. I cant wait for the movie! I must admit I was a little skepticle when I first saw the cast, especially Edward. but after seeing the trailer… my doubts were gone, this movie is going to be spectacular!! ^.^ lol
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:12 amlove it love it love it and plan on watching it several time the first week, hee hee!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:13 amI can’t wait for the movie! I’m happy that it looks like they’re staying true to the books.
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:15 amHoly cow!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:21 amI really can’t wait for the movie, Kristen Stewart is perfect for playing Bella.
I’m not sure if I like Edward’s voice in the first part, it’s too… too, what’s the word? Maybe cynical, maybe rough. I don’t know if that fits the description I had in my head well enough.
I don’t know how many times I’ve watched the trailer, but it still amazes me. I’ve heard that they are staying very true to the book (they got rid of the FBI at least), so I’m extremely excited to see the movie!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:22 amOf course, it’s not going to be as good as the book. But, I trust Stephenie. At least she didn’t accept MTV’s option of the book–which had a script that completely excluded the Cullens. But MTV is making up for it by having their nose in all things Twilight these days, I suppose..
I love the trailer, I must say. It is amazing, and I think Kristen and Robert have a great on-screen chemistry. And, as Stephenie said, Robert can be dangerous but gorgeous at the same time (or something like that, don’t quote me). But yes, I’m actually excited to see the movie, but less excited that Twilight is so mainstream now. Oh well, it happens. And Stephenie deserves the success.
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:23 amI can’t wait to see the movie! I think it will turn out really good even though others have doubts about the acting. I’ve watched the trailer like 100 times and seen so many pictures from the set and I know its gonna be a freakin awesome movie!!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:26 amOME!! i couldnt stop screaming!! it was soo good!! ahh!! cant wait for the movie!! thanks for posting the trailer!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:27 ami was way excited when i saw the trailer…although for some reason, something didnt seem absolutely perfect. oh well, nothing’s perfect i guess.
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:30 amThe trailer is so addicting. I’ve watched it about a billion times. I cannot wit until the movie comes out.
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:32 amEverytime i watch the trailer I get goosebumps. I love how it draws you to want to know more (for someone who doesn’t know Edward is a vampire) while it still doesn’t give any giveaways to the plot line. I have this 30 day countdown on my phone for the movie on the calender. I think I might go crazy while I wait.
(And BTW I would like to be entered in the draw please.

on June 16th, 2008 at 11:32 amWhen I first read Twilight, I didn’t really picture Edward as Robert Pattinson, but I’ll get used to it. He is gorgeous after all!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:36 amOH MY GOSH!!! when I saw this I like screamed forever! I was just a little excited for the movie but now I can hardly contain my excitement! no joke!:)
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:38 amOMG! I love the trailer! I’ve watched it more times than I can possibly keep up with. I was already planning on seeing it but now I am definatly going to have to see it! Its amazing!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:39 amI’m going to watch the trailer too! I get excited just thinking about it. I know there’ll be plenty of laughs down at the movie theaters. Putting a bunch of Twilight fans together in one room is not a pretty sight. There’ll be people screaming “OMGOMGEDWARD” or “MARRY ME EDWARD”,maybe even people fainting. I can’t wait. n__n. December come quicker!!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:39 amI don’t expect the movie to even compare to the book, but I will absolutely still watch it. I just don’t see how they could possibly capture all of what you get from being inside Bella’s head in the novel. But from what I’ve seen, I think they’ll still do a great job with the movie.
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:45 am*HYPERVENTILATES* *calms down* * freaks out again* OMG!!!!! SO GOING TO SEE THE AWESOME MOVIE!! I’m already telling my friends that this is my favorite movie and when they tell me it hasn’t come out yet, I just say,” And your point is?” CAN”T WAIT!!!!*faints*
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:52 amWell the movie will be no comparison to our wonderful, amazing, exceptional book. But I know I’m going to have to see it!!!
I love in the trailer that they put the car crash scene, since it’s kinda a pivotel moment. I also freaked out when I saw Edward’s bedroom!!!!!! *restart my heart*
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:56 amI loved it!! I can’t wait until the movie comes out!! I sent that to my friend in Europe who I haven’t seen in, like, seven years, and she said that it made her want to come see it with me!
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:07 pmThis just makes me so happy!, though I don’t really like how they cut Edward’s hair….
I have watched this like 75 times (no joke). I can’t wait for the movie to come out!!! I was actually planning on throwing a pre-movie party. Like inviting all my friends who have read the book over and then driving to the movies together!! COULD DECEMBER COME ANY SLOWER!?!?!?!!?!?!?
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:09 pmThe trailer is pretty amazing… I do wish it showed some of the other characters though. I’m hoping for a lengthier trailer. And I STILL haven’t seen it in the theater, which is getting aggravating! I’ve been to every major release since the trailer came out, and NOTHING.
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:11 pmFrom the moment i know there was going to be a movie… i made my friend PROMISE… we would go….
(MIDNIGHT, DECEMBER 12, 2008)… i was upset (watching the trailer… and other “clips”)
I honestly HATE…. “hold on tight SPIDER MONKEY!”… and the way Emmett feels (in this trailer)…. its NOT EMMETT…. (it’s Rosalie)…..
BUT I AM STILL GOING…. (several times!) ;D
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:13 pmcan you say…GORGEOUS?!?!?
. i cannot freakin wait until the movie comes out! i will be there at the midnight release (paper bag in hand, because i am sure to hypervenilate)!!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:17 pmi think that robert is perfect!
considering the fact that no earthly person could ever protray Edward Cullen, they picked a great guy
Damn. I kinda promised myself that I wouldn’t watch that trailer any more. After watching it over and over for 3 hours a day for a week, I had to stop. But just 3 minutes ago, I started watching it and… you can guess the rest…
The trailer is great. It gives me chills every time. After you get used to the fact that it’s not going to be exactly like the book (nothing ever will), you realize that they’re actually doing a great job with this. Rob is really attractive (understatement?), and he’s the perfect Edward. Let’s just say you can’t get better than that. If you want to, go into your imagination… Anyway, I love this, and I’ll be the first person in the theater on December 11th (midnight). Twilight is amazing :]
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:18 pmI think I’ll have a moment to myself. *sobs*
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:32 pmGosh, this is amazing! ‘Tis is a teaser trailer! STOP TEASING ME! I love how Edward looks at her. Why can’t he look at me??
When I first saw the trailer, I started screaming. I loved it. It has a very good mood and RPattz seems to portray Edward wonderfully. I watched it over and over again, then left a crazed voicemail on my friend’s phone. I can’t wait until they release a full trailer!
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:35 pmI am definetly going to see the movie! I thought the trailer was amazing, and I really couldn’t breathe the first time I was watching it. I think they did a good job picking the cast, but I hope they don’t change too much about the movie to make it different from the book.
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:38 pmThis trailer makes me even more excited about the movie! I loved all the castings and I’m keeping my hopes low. So either way I won’t be disapointed.
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:41 pmIDK sometimes the book is much better than the movie!!! it looks good.. i hope it’s true
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:44 pmI was seriously crying out of happiness when I first watched it. Then I played it over and over again until my friend cut me off. I am so attached to the series, it’s not even funny and now with the movie coming out, I’m probably going to see the movie over and over, until it comes out on DVD.
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:44 pmAt first I had my doubts about seeing the movie. Being a twilighter i pretty much staled down every information i could get about the movie as soon as Stephenie Meyer announced the possibility of a movie and cam up disappointed such as Gaspard Ulliel instead of Robert Pattinson, flying vampires, and a lesser known fact of now alleyway in Port Angeles scene. But recently with this awesome trailer and the MTV scene my hopes have been rekindled i’m almost more excited about this movie now than i am about Breaking Dawn. haven’t we all wanted to see this played out for us. So I am definitley sure I’m going to make myself live with the imperfections and go see this movie. The trailer is great, and the look Rob/Edward gives Kristen/Bella is amazingly perfect Edward look. It is filled with love, sadness, panic, realization, frustration, and even fear. He perfected the look with many emotions, it’s my favorite part of the trailer. This teaser trailer is a really big energy booster for me..wow my comments are lengthy
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:45 pmIt takes my breath away everytime i watch it, and trust me, I watch it ALOT! the whole line “How long have you been 17″ seems ever so slightly forced on Kristen’s part though. But that’s just me. I can’t wait to try and go see it.
on June 16th, 2008 at 12:46 pmI am definitely planning on going to the movie. If I could afford it I would go multiple times. I am so excited and I think it is going to be really good.
on June 16th, 2008 at 2:22 pmI cannot wait to see the movie i am almost as immpatient as i am with breaking dawn i want december to come faster. The trailer buged me because it made me want to se the movie that much more.
on June 16th, 2008 at 2:36 pmAnother entry. I am planning on seeing the movie the weekend it opens. I am trying to not make any prejudgments about if the movie will be good or not. Can’t really judge a preview, sometimes they make the movie look better and sometimes worse. I am waiting to see the whole thing once it is complete.
on June 16th, 2008 at 2:40 pmI’m VERY excited about the movie. All of the actors are not exactly as I pictured them…but my vision is not going to be the same as someone elses. I think the casting of Bella was good…and Robert Pattinson as Edward has grown on me. I was concerned at first with ‘Cedric Diggory’ playing Edward, but looking at the trailer has me more convinced. My biggest complaint is Jacob…c’mon….Sharkboy!?! I just can’t even fathom him as Jacob. Maybe for Twilight….but for New Moon and Eclipse?!?! Jacob is supposed to be Edward’s competition. Sharkboy just doesn’t compare. And I love both Jacob and Edward in the book….I want Bella to end up with Edward, but I love Jacob too…I guess I’m team Switzerland…maybe.
This is waaaaay more long-winded than I intended. Sorry to all who had to endure reading this
Jenn
on June 16th, 2008 at 2:43 pmI’ve been disappointed in the past with books turned movies, but the reality is that a movie can never be exactly as its book is. Books are hundreds of pages long, and I’m sure audiences wouldn’t want to sit in a theater for five hours. So I’m really excited for the Twilight movie! The trailer looks amazing and really makes me want to see more =)
on June 16th, 2008 at 2:45 pmGeez. When I first saw it I couldn’t sit still for a while. I jumped around and called all my Twilighter friends.
on June 16th, 2008 at 2:50 pmthe trailer is AMAZING!! yay! i can’t wait for december 12th!! the trailer just makes me that much more anxious!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 2:51 pmi absolutely cannot wait for the movie !
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:00 pmin the beginning, when the cast was actually cast, i did not like them at all.
many of my friends and i had picked out specific people that we wanted to play the characters, and i was so stuck on them, i wouldn’t tolerate, in my own head, anyone else.
but once this trailer came out, i realized that the directors and producers couldn’t have picked anyone better !
they’re absolutely fabulous, and they’ll definately do them justice.
the movie will be amazing, of this i am sure.
i’m so excited !
The first time i watched it i sat there for like half an hour just watching it over and over. I even recorded it wiht my camera and now i just lay in bed and watch it over and over again and again. I love it!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:04 pm( This is to be entered in the giveaway)
OMG!!! this totally took my breath away!!! i was expecting the movie to ruin the book…but know i just dont think ill be able to survive six more months of waiting!! So didnt expect it to be this AWESOME!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:04 pmIm so excited for the movie and for breaking dawn!!! hopefully ill survive the wait for both!!
I think this teaser trailer is soooo good! It introduces our hero and heroine very well without giving away anything really. What I usually hate about books turned movies is that you have to read the book to understand the movie. But with this trailer, audiences who have not read Twilight understand that Edward is dangerous, not really human, and that him and Bella are in love and that she is in trouble. It tells you the main point without giving any anything. I think it’s amazing, straight to the point, and will attract more audiences!
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:10 pmI was SO excited when this came out!! I think I started screaming. I also got a little dizzy.
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:14 pmI really like how you can see Edward’s crooked GRIN!! Right after Bella says, “I’m not scared of you.” And then Edward says, “You REALLY shouldn’t have said that… *really cute crooked grin*”
And I also, was surprised that I liked it. I normally hate books that get turned into movies… =)
This is my entry!
i’m the type of person who picks and picks at a movie and if it isnt close to the book i get upset (((which is basicly every book truned movie i’ve seen haha))). & this trailer sadly is no different. The conversation between Edward and Emmit doesn’t happen! if anyone that should be Rosalie! And the actor who plays Edward isn’t right. He almost looks to week to play him.
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:18 pmBut i guess i’m just gonna have to live with it. It should be a good movie and i’m excited to see wht the whole thing will look like.
When I first saw the trailer, I was a bit nervous but once I watched it several times I loved it! One of the first things I noticed about the trailer was how great Robert Pattison conveyed Edward. The way he looked at Bella was absolutely breathtaking. That was one of my major concerns with the movie is seeing if Robert could pull off the essence of Edward. I think he’s doing a pretty damn good job just by seeing the trailer and the clip from MTV. I’m so excited for the movie and I will definitely be there for the mid-night showing and taking as many people as possible to support the movie.
An entry for another submission in the contest along with my other one from the book cover. More to come. =)
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:19 pmthe trailer looks so totally awesome!!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:22 pm(except RPatz is no edward!!! sooooo not hot enough!!!!!)
I cant wait to see the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I REALLY want to see the movie. Unfortunately, I haven’t actually read the book yet, so I’m going to read the book before I see the movie, hopefully I can get a copy of the book before the movie comes out.
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:31 pmThis is so AWESOME! I have watched the tralier at least 20 times! I’m a little bit worried about how it is going though, because in the book he does not jump out of his window! Oh well, I guess i’m just judgemental! The movie can’t be EXACTLY like the book!
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:32 pmI am definitely going to watch the movie, but it is not going to be as good as the book. The trailer makes Twilight look more like an action story. My friends and I hope the it is not too different from the book, but I know it will be disappointing. Still watching it though. I’m anxious to see the end result.
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:36 pmOMC. I nearly passed out when I saw this. I woke up around midnight just to see the MTV blog. I love it. I think they are going to very gool. The was these two actors look at each other! Robert truly looks like Edward in the begining, his eyes are filled with the blood lust. And Kristin has Bella’s expressions nailed! cantwaitcantwaitcantwait!
ps: still interested in your big give away!
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:42 pmMy friends and I have high hopes for this movie and are a little worried about how much they have changed compared to the book. However, that’s not going to stop us from going to see the movie with a group of at least 15 people. Please enter me in the contest! Thanks!
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:44 pmI
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:46 pmOMG i just died..i love the trailer..especially the car accident omg like AHH im definetly watching this movie..i countdown each day !
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:49 pmI am most definitely going to a midnight showing! I’m sure I’ll sit there the whole time noticing and complaining about every single change they made from the books with my friends, but in the end, I’m sure I’ll love it anyway. Because, well, it’s Twilight… how could I not love it?
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:49 pmi was sooooo excited when this came out! i didnt think it was a real trailer when my friend sended it to me. i was screaming and jumping like anything. i am most definetley watching this movie no matter what and i will be going to the midnight show! im sooo excited about this movie and i cant wait until it comes out!
on June 16th, 2008 at 3:59 pmMy daughter and her friends and I are counting the days until the movie is out!! We can’t wait!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 4:01 pmSo don’t send me hate mail, but I’m actually not a fan of this trailer. Trailers have become so formulaic and this one fits right into the formula. Until trailers move on from the “dip to black” shtick, I’m going to continued to be annoyed by them. Plus, I think there are probably better moments in the movie that would convey the intensity of this story. Maybe they were limited on footage.
Of course I’m going to see the movie, even though it won’t measure up to the book. Robert Pattinson is cute and has an interesting look to him, which works for the role. Unfortunately one actor can’t encompass everyone’s vision of what Edward is to them. But I will be looking for one thing for him to convey well and it has nothing to do with looks. We’ll see how well he does it.
on June 16th, 2008 at 4:30 pmI love it
on June 16th, 2008 at 4:35 pmbut i want more
and of course im going to watch the movie
if its as good as the book
than that is perfect
:]
ome!!! i watched the trailer like 50 times!! i cant wait for the movie!
p.s. entry for book contest thingy
on June 16th, 2008 at 4:35 pmwhen i first saw this trailer i almost fainted. i had some much excitment in me i could not contain it. therefor my siblings think i’ve gone insane. but anyway, im definatly going to see this movie.
on June 16th, 2008 at 4:37 pmI couldn’t breathe when i saw it. and as soon as i could again, i watched it five more times.
on June 16th, 2008 at 4:40 pmIM SO EXCITED FOR THIS MOVIE! its not even funny. everytime i watch this trailer or watch videos with edward and bella in it my face stretches into a wide grin. and when it ends i squeal for like, five minutes! i’m definitely watching this movie
on June 16th, 2008 at 4:46 pmI cannot WAIT for this to come out! I wasn’t sure about it at first (I watched to first completed scene first), but seeing this is so much better. I am sad that Emmett doesn’t have curly hair though
After all, that is much of the reason why Rosalie saved him…
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:04 pmYay for another entry!
I LOVE THIS TRAILER I’VE WATCHED IT LIKE 50 TIMES….
GIVE ME THE BOOKS AND T-SHIRT
PLEASE!
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:07 pmIt looks so good! I just wish that they would’ve followed the book closer because one of my favorite parts was when Edward attacks Bella into the couch when she said that she wasn’t scared of him.
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:15 pmThis trailer is GREAT!!! I watched more than 100 times already..and still it gets me hyper…YAY!!…I definetely can’t wait until the movie comes out …..the days seem so long!!!…..
P.S. another entry for the contest….
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:16 pmI can’t wait to see this movie. I liked the trailer with some minor exceptions. I don’t like when Emmett says she’s not one of us. It sounded so fake. Also when he was saying that the look on Edward’s face was weird. I wonder what part that is from… Can’t wait to see it though!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:25 pmAHHHH!! I’ve watched this trailer soo many times. if the teaser trailer is good, then I can’t wait to see what the full trailer will be like [;
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:27 pmI heard that when catherine saw the script, she sent it back, because she felt that the script was too different from the actual book.
I was gripping the desk in front of me so hard when i first watched this. I actually could not breathe!! I love it! I was a little worried (after seeing the HP movies being ruined)that the movie wouldn’t be like the book, but it looks awesome! and i completely trust the director! I love it =)
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:33 pmVery impressive preview! It looked like a movie clip! I loved it…..It makes me want to read the book in the worst way. Thanks,Cindi
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:37 pmI am so excited for the movie its not even funny! My friends think i’m crazy but i just say im passionate…haha! Cant wait till 12.12.08!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:42 pmI have never been this excited to see a movie in my entire life! I’ve never known about a movie 10+ months before it’s release date! I can’t wait until the movie!! I’m THRILLED!
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:42 pmI love the trailer.. I don’t even mind how it’s different from the book. My friends and I are already making plans to see the movie in December. xD
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:43 pmI absolutely love the trailer! I am so excited to see it on the big screen. I sure hope my local theaters will be doing a midnight showing so i don’t have to wait until after work on Dec. 12!
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:46 pmI am planning on seeing this movie, but I feel that the book (as all books are) will be better than the movie. I just think that when you read a book, you let your imagination run and you get to see the characters through your mind, not through what is put infront of you. Anyway, I love this trailer. I feel that it puts enough information in it to make you want to see it, but not to much information to give it away. Like when Emmet says, “She’s not one of us,” I bet that a lot of people would be wondering what he means. I mean, like, one of us? What are they? Overall, I thought it was a very good presentation of the movie and I’m waiting unpatiently for the movie to come out.
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:50 pmI liked the trailer, but i guess they could have represented the book better in the trailer. but, it’s just the teaser, so i guess the real trailer will be much better.
) )
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:53 pm(please enter me for the contest…again
god every time i see that trailer i giggle like a skool gurl!
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:56 pmi cant wait to see it!
at first im like there gonna ruin twilight for before the movie fans
but now i can t wait
I like it. I don’t know why, but I can’t stop watching it over and over again. The only thing that disappointed me was the “I’m not scared of you” part. The first time I read the book, that part was my favorite part. I even imagined it in my head. Isn’t that when Alice asks them if they want to go play baseball?… But, I trust Catherine because I’ve seen her movies, and they’re GREAT!! So I doubt we’ll be disappointed! Can’t wait!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:58 pmThe movie is gonna be so awesome. I can’t wait to see it. Enter me in the contest.
on June 16th, 2008 at 5:58 pmOMG! The trailer just makes you want to see more, doesn’t it? Or is it just the books? I’m so gonna watch it. Even though I would rather leave what they look like to my imagination.
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:04 pmOME OME OME OME OME OME!!
I HAVE TO GO AND SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I’m gonna spend the night at the theaters to be the first person in line…
*Laughs*
But no, seriously. I don’t thk that the movie will b as…”Dazzling” as the book but… Catherine looks like she did a pretty god job!
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:04 pm(P.S Please put me into the book winning!)
AAHHH! I am SO excited for it – everyone I know is freaking out that the movie wont be right but it seems that they did well.
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:11 pmthis trailer has made me so excited for the movie! i was a little worried at first, but i think i am going to take sm’s word for it and try the movie out!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:19 pmHonestly it looks like they are doing a great job adapting the book to film, BUT this trailer (though it had me salivating for more) is a bit cheesy.
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:23 pmthis trailer is like AWSOME!! im gonna be right at the movie theater when the movie comes out! i cant wait! i especially LOOOVEE Edward/Spunk ’s face when he just stopped the car from running into Bella.his face just portrayed sooo many emotions!
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:25 pmI’ve definately watched the trailer atleast a few dozen times… it doesn’t matter what I’m doing or reading every time I come across it I have to stop everything to watch it. The chemistry between Rob and Kristin is undeniable! I’m mad rad excited!!! (I would also be mad rad excited to win all of the books
)
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:32 pmDefinitely going to see the movie. Probably on release day if I can talk some friends into going with me. I wasn’t sold on the guy who plays Edward (he looked a bit creepy in the movie posters), but this clip totally made me change my mind.
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:33 pmThe movie is going to be so good on the big screen! I am going to watch this movie but i cant wait! Also..
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:39 pmthis trailer was too teasing. i guess that’s why they call it a teaser trailer. i can’t wait to see the movie. i can tell that it is going to be quite amazing just buy the 1 min preview can’t wait can’t wait can’t wait. i am so going to the midnight showing of it. edward looks so amazing in this too. when he smiles at the last second or so after he says, “you really shouldn’t have said that” i just melted!
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:55 pmI think the movie is going to turn out great… it wont be as good as the book obviously but close enough. I love the van scene though, thats for sure. He is her true hero, her lifesavor. He’s so inhumanly-perfect. Thats what I love about him.
And about the trailor, he is a great actor, a great “Edward.”
on June 16th, 2008 at 6:58 pmThis trailer sent chilles running up my spine! that is of course because i understand all that’s going on. But i think they did a poor job of conveying the story. Then again this is only the TEASER trailer. It is all i watch as soon as i get on the computer! This trailer has got me on edge just waiting for another bite!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:00 pmThe movie is going to be fabulous! Watching the trailer leaves me “thirsting” for more. I can’t wait!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:08 pmAGH! Driving me nuts. I think Kristen Stewart is pretty much the perfect Bella, but Edward seems kind of malicious. At least, more so than I imagined.
All the same- snarky and intriguing dialogue = I’m hooked. So I guess we’ll see. I’m realllly crossing my fingers on this one.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:24 pmOmgosh. I must’ve watched the trailer 120713092031312 times. And hyperventilated each. But also, I saw it on the big screen! Can’t you just imagine me and my friends SQUEALING in the middle of the dark theater? Ahahaha. It was so amazing! My favorite scene is the truck scene. Omg. The look on Edward’s face? Can you say swoon?
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:24 pmThe twilight movie trailer was right on point! The music and the scene selections just made it more dramatic and suspenseful. Once you watch the trailer you’ll be “dying” to see the rest:) Great job A+++
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:24 pmI love the trailer. Since that was the teaser one, I wonder what the “real” one is going to be like…
I think the actors are really great, based on what I’ve seen so far.
Oh man o man…Can’t wait until it finally comes out!!! thinking about getting a job at the movies during the wineter just so i can watch it over and over during breaks and stuff =P
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:26 pm(I forgot to write to enter me!)
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:27 pmI freaked out when I found this the day it came out! I am going to watch the movie and I do realize that it might not stand up to my expectations, but…. They are giving there best shot at this here. I know that im going to be holding my breath the entire time when the van crashes into Bella’s truck, just to see Edward’s face when he saves her on the big screen is going to be breath taking!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:30 pmOH MY GOD I LOVE THE TRAILER.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:43 pmat first, i had doubts about kristen stewart because she isn’t one of my favorite actresses because i’ve seen some of her movies and they just didn’t impress me. but i loved her in “into the wild”
then i watched the trailer and she has my approval now. i am definitely going to watch the movie.
i love love love the trailer! it definitely makes me want to see the movie as soon as possible. i hope that it’ll exceed my expectations but if it doesn’t i won’t be that upset because nothing can ever be perfect. i still can’t wait though for 12.12! please come faster!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:46 pmOh emm gee! i cannot wait for this movie robert pattinson is oooo perfect for this movie!!!!! The only thing that i sisn’t like is the part where edward jumps with bella out of the window. Is that supposed to be edwards house? it wasn’t exactly how i would have imagined it! STill CANNOT WAIT!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:51 pmThe trailer is awesome. I can’t wait to see the movie… i’m huge fan of the books… so i’m very eager for the movie to come out… especially with that Jackson Rathbone as my favorite character!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:51 pmI CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THE MOVIE!!! ONE I HEARD IT WAS COMING OUT I STARTED JUMPING UP AND DOWN!!!!! I JUST CAN’T WAIT ANY LONGER!!!!! THE TRAILER IS SO GOOD AND INTENSE!!!! I LOVE WATCHING IT!!!!! WOOT!!! WOOT!!!! I LOVE YOUR BOOKS!!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:52 pmI am counting down the days till i can see this movie! I love the books, so i can only hope that the movie does the books justice.
on June 16th, 2008 at 7:55 pmi cannot wait to see the movie!!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:03 pmThis movie is already on my calender along with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I loved the trailer, even the music got me excited. Robert and Kisten are perfect. They showed the perfect scenes. I can’t wait. It is at the end of the year, that will be forever.
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:11 pmThe trailer looks great! Definitely gets me excited to see more – and the movie in December! Very cool
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:13 pmThe trailer is awesome, though Emmett’s line is kinda… eh
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:24 pmI am definately going to watch the movie. I don’t know what to expect. At first, I wasn’t thrilled with the movie at all. After seeing the trailer, I had some hope that it will be a good movie. I’m praying that it turns out to be a great movie! I don’t care what the characters look like. For me, no one looks like how I imagined them to be..but that’s common sense. Everybody imagines them differently. What matters most to me is their acting. If they can just convince me through their acting that they ARE the characters, then I’m happy with that. As long as their acting is effortless! I can’t wait!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:26 pmI seriously started screaming when I saw this. It was really good! Though, some things weren’t as I’d hoped they would, I am eager to see how they put the movie together. I am a perfectionist though, when it comes to the books, and the part when Bella’s asking Edward how old he is wasn’t right to me. In the book, it was a light and happy scene, them riding in the car and Edward singing (unless I’m mistaken). In this trailor, it seemed a little darker. Oh well, I still can’t wait to see it!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:35 pmI’m looking forward to seeing this movie sooo much that it’s getting ridiculous. I cant wait till December!! I have some friends who have read the book that aren’t as excited about the movie because they’re being picky about it. Yes, it’s going to be different that the book. Yes some parts are going to happen that didn’t originate in the book. It bugs me more that these people have a problem with it because the book was so amazing it shouldn’t matter. Our characters are being brought to life! Nothing can be better than that!
on June 16th, 2008 at 8:40 pmWhen I first heard about the movie I was really excited but after I saw the cast list I was a bit disappointed at least with some of the casting such as Edward, Rosalie, and Jasper. If I get the chance I’ll most likely go and see it though because that trailer looks amazing I think that they might actually be able to pull this off. Well fingers crossed at least. Another thing that kind of nicked me about the movie was one of the posters I saw which had Edward with red eyes very disappointing I hope they don’t mess that up in the movie as well. Well I hope that you are able to write a review about the movie when it comes out. Then I’ll know more or less if it would be worth my limited outing money lol
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:10 pmI am kind of worried about how the movie is going to turn out. I mean I might be laughing just to keep from crying. I love how Kellan is going to Emmet thought. wooohooo!!! I think he fits emmet. p.s. after all sometimes kelmet happens. pss i really want to be entered in the prize give away contest thing. i’m so excited.
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:14 pmLove the trailer.
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:25 pmIt’s a bit iffy but i like it.
Can’t wait till the actual movie!!
I also watched the scene you had posted and I posted it on my blog. I think they are staying true to the book from what I can see, It gave me chills:)
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:34 pmI CAN’T WAAAAIIITTT!!!
RPATTS is a pretty good choice for Edward. I kind of imagined Edward to be even hotter than that but I mean, we really can’t find a human specimen who will be quite comparable to EDCULLS amazingness, right?
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:34 pmI just realized Edward was Cedric Diggory. That makes me happy because he was rather lovely in GOF.
As for the movie as a whole . . . eh, book movies tend to be disappointing, but I’ll probably be there opening weekend anyway.
Visually, it seems to have a very nice palatte for a vampire movie and a sort of soft look that I find appealing in the trailer. (What works for a few minutes doesn’t always work for a couple of hours, but we’ll see.)
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:38 pmAfter seeing this trailer I am even more anxious to see this movie! I’m so going to the midnight show!
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:39 pmOf course I love this trailer. It is so dramatic. I think they hit the nail on the head with the car crash scene, and in the bedroom scene when Edward says, “You really shouldn’t have said that,” and smiles I am so dazzled that I usually start hyperventilating. Can’t WAIT for the movie!!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:49 pmI am entering in the SM book giveaway contest. I am doing all 11 things.
I am extatic about the movie! LOVE the trailor. I’m going to have to read a LOT of books to keep myself busy until December! Hehe. I’m also entering the contest. Lol. I can’t wait!
on June 16th, 2008 at 9:56 pmI’ve been known for leaving really long comments so I’m going to try to keep it down this time.
I’m definitly going to see the movie, who can resist anything twilight related? I love the trailer and I think that the casting director did as good as they could with the people they had. Its not t
took there’s a perfect Edward out there waiting to he in thus movie. (although some would disagree.)
In still very excited theyre even making the movie.
can’t wait!
Please enter me in the contest! Thank you again!
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:14 pmThis is great! I lost count of the number of times I watched this trailer. I think it’s going to be good from what I’ve seen so far. The look Edward gave Bella when they’re standing in his room is simply mesmerizing. I know there’s going to be many changes from the books, but the essence of the book is still there.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:16 pmIt makes me wonder, though, that if this is a ‘teaser’ trailer, then will there be a ‘real’ trailer?
I’ll admit that I read Twilight because of the trailer. I’ve had the book for about a year now, but never actually got around to reading it. But after I saw that trailer, I couldn’t resist any longer.
A lot of my friends complain that they don’t like the guy who plays Edward, but I think he’s a good match. Maybe becuase I read them after seeing this?
However, my absolute favorite part is the tagline: “When you live forever, what do you have to live for?” Chills.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:18 pmI love the trailer. It gives enough for the fans to be happy for a while but it also doesnt give too much away for those who dont understand it. It’s brilliant and it just makes me wish it were december already!!
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:34 pmI don’t think this was a full scene. It looked like there was stuff cut out just before James appears with the video camera. It just seems a little abrupt to me.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:50 pmMy only problem with it is the part where James jumps up. It seems pretty obvious he is on wires, but that might just be me because I’ve watched the clip of them shooting that scene about 10 times.
I am definatly going to see the movie.
I would love to be entered into the contest to win the Stephenie Meyer collection.
I plan on seeing the movie, but my expectations are not high. I do not like most of the casting(as for how they appear) but they can act, and I am hoping that will be enough to pull them through. I belive it will be like the Harry Potter movies, a good movie, but absolutly nothing like the books. If you walk in expecting it to be like the books you will be disappointed, but if you walk in expecting to be entertained by a movie containing the same concepts as the books, then you should enjoy it. I am looking forward to seeing it, but not setting by expectations too high they cannot be reached.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:51 pmSorry, I thought this was the scene from Twilight.
on June 16th, 2008 at 10:55 pmI like the trailer. I think the movie will be pretty good, but no where near as good as the books. For the most part, I like the casting, especially Jasper and Emmett.
It seems as if Robert Pattinson is more focused on getting the “tortured vampire” bit on screen. I had hoped to see an Edward who was a little less… dark and gloomy.
I have watched this trailer so many times that I should be hating it by now, but I don’t. I am looking forward to seeing this movie and cannot wait until December 12. I have to admit that the beginning of the trailer is a bit icky for me. When I first watched it, I was like, “Whoa! They’re suppose to be in a car!” Then when it gets to the part where Bella is saved by Edward from that vehicle! Wow! I almost died! Awesome trailer!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:22 pmI thought that the trailer was pretty good–but not spectacular…I guess I’m not one of those girls who scream at the top of their lungs over something like this…I’m just the kind that shuts up and goes off into their own little world while imagining what the movie’s going to be like…and what’s going to be wrong with it…the lighting, the changing around of the locations of where important points are discovered in the book…etc.
However, I do think that it’s still going to be a good movie. From what I have seen, the actors are prrreeetty good at what they do, and Catherine Hardwicke, although maybe a bit crazy–my kind of crazy, is going to stay as true to the story as she can manage.
So, with that being said, I am looking forward to seeing the movie in December, even if there are some things different.
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:28 pmFrom what I’ve seen, the cast and crew for this film are going to make it all the better.
I was a little skeptical at first.
For some reason Robert Pattinson fit for me but I was struggling with Kristen Stewart as Bella. She just didn’t seem soft enough.
I was also worried about the intensity of some of the scenes. There is so much tension in the novels and I wasn’t sure how it would translate.
After watching this my worried have been soothed, for the most part.
I really look forward to seeing this, hopefully at midnight.
I would be grateful if this could be an entry to your contest.
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:28 pmThe first time I watched the trailer I couldn’t stop screaming. I loved it! It was really close to the book and I think I will watch the movie. I’m not quite sure if it’ll be as good as the book, but my mind is set on watching the movie, and it can’t be changed. Even though there were parts that weren’t quite accurate. I still loved it! and I’m starting to sound redundant. But it was awesome and my heart did beat fast. I swear during the whole trailer I was breathless!
on June 16th, 2008 at 11:34 pmI will definitely be seeing the movie, but I’m still up in the air about how I feel about it. I think that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are excellent casting choices for the two main characters. The only thing I am afraid of is the obvious harness work they have done, as seen in the ridiculously high, long jumps. Catherine Hardwicke is a brilliant director, though, and I trust that in the end her experience will win out. The look of the film, as seen through the trailer, the interviews, and the first finalized scene as released on MTV, appears to be styled in a way that will play up Meyer’s distinct emotional writing style and will also make vampires in our modern world seem quite as believable as the wizards of Harry Potter in modern London.
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:14 amThis trailer gave me goosebumps. I want it to be December right now. Robert’s voice is just so…. beautiful. I even went to see Indiana Jones because i heard they were showing the trailer. BUT it wasnt. i was angry but i got a good movie to watch but anyways. i also love how they show clips of edward hunting and maybe *some werewolves*….
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:19 amWow. The first time I watched the trailer I held my breath all the way through. I’m surprised I didn’t pass out and fall off my chair. I was amazed and not to mention very lightheaded (by Robert Pattinson or the sheer excitement, who knows?). I’ve been following the process since the beginning and to finally see a glimpse of what is to come on 12-12-08 is shockingly breathtaking. I was at times worried that the movie wouldn’t measure up, but from what I saw, I cannot wait for December to come!
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:26 amomg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg!! i love the trailer soooooo much!! but why oh why do they do this to us???? i mean it is torture to only see part of it!!! i am going to die before december!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:29 amOME!!! I can honestly not tell you how many times I have watched this trailer in the past month and a half. I don’t even think there is a number for how many times I’ve watched it. Hah. I am a TwiHARD. I am following it carefully, watching all the behind the scenes videos and reading all the articles about everyone and everything.
I never pictured anyone for the characters merely for the fact of knowing it was being made into a movie and I would possibly put myself up for disappointment. And I am SO INCREDIBLY happy with the casting. They are my characters now. They are perfect. All of them.
I think it needs to be December 12th RIGHT NOW so I don’t go insane. Hah.
If anyone wants to be entertained by other Twilighters, check out YouTube. Mainly the profile of NoMoreMarbles. She is amazing!
I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it! I am so siked! Unbelievably! EEE!!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:47 amP.S. My mother went to a movie and saw the Trailer of Twilight, but said that it was more than the Teaser Trailer! Has anyone heard of there being any FULL LENGTH trailer out? If so, I NEED to see it NOW!
It’s too much to handle! I’m about to go crazy with anticipation!!!!! Twilight ROCKS!!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:49 am(These have also been in accordance to the contest. I am loving this commenting thing. Sharing my opinion on this amazing phenomenon that has taken the world by storm is just so much fun!
)
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:58 amAnother Contest Comment!!! I would have post that for “The Host Review” but I had already been annoyed with having to re-write it.
SOOO..I’ve watched this trailer a bajillion times it feels like. Shown it to my family, my friends, who LOVE it by the way (excluding one..who is just annoyed with my obsession, sigh).
The only problem I have with it is…it seems that the couch scene is not in the movie. You know the whole Edward pouncing on Bella and then Jasper and Alice barging in ready for a meal? THAT was one of the greatest parts..his growl, yum. But no..it seems it is not in the movie. Instead he’s jumping out of a window and grabbing her by the arm, more than likely causing a bruise *pouts*.
But I am SO going to see the movie. I’m excited for it. I’m thinking I’m going to have to buy an oxygen tank though…
on June 17th, 2008 at 1:03 amThat is awesome. It it pretty much what I have been picturing in my head while reading Twilight for the first time. I am definitely watching it for all the right reasons:
on June 17th, 2008 at 2:36 am1. Im a HUG Twilight fan. I was dreaming about the movie even before talks were finalized.
2. Robert Pattinson is in it. He was my Edward from the start! At least a year before the talks of Summit making it into a movie.
I am soooo excited about this movie in December!!!! My husband has Harry Potter and I have Twilight!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 3:58 amI cannot wait for this movie to come out! It is definitely right at the top of the list for movies that I want to take my daughters to see.
on June 17th, 2008 at 4:18 amCan’t wait to see the movie. Just hope I won’t be let down.
on June 17th, 2008 at 5:33 amI love the trailer. I have most likely watched it over twenty times, trying to get every tiny detail.
about the trailer itself:
I like the way it was put together. I wish they put more about Bella coming to forks and then build the trailer into the Bella/Edward romance thing. I also wish the would highlight the fact that Edward was a vampire, because there are people who havent read the books, and most likely not catch on that Edward is a vampire.
My favorite part of this trailer is when they lock eyes, after the truck incident. It shows their instant connection.
about the movie:
on June 17th, 2008 at 8:13 amI think this movie is going to be very good. I am most certainly looking forward to it. No doubt they will change something from the books, or leave something out and I will not be a happy camper, but I’m expecting it so it shouldn’t be that bad. I am ALSO looking forward to Stephenie Meyers cameo in the movie. I think it will be fun to see her in the background looking in it will almost be like the way she saw things…like an outsiders point of view, and then decided to write a book.
I’m thinking that the boy from Harry Potter certainly has grown up. Mmmm… I definitely want to see the movie!
on June 17th, 2008 at 9:10 amI have the whole trailer memorized!! It is really cool!! When I went to see indiana Jones with my friend and my family the Twilight Trailer came on and my friend and I started squealing and whispering the lines. I can’t wait to see the movie!! I think it is going to be really great! I am so excited and I am going to see the first midnight showing!! I think the actors you chose to play Bella and Edward are perfect! I have a feeling that the movie isn’t going to be quite as good as the book, but I am still really excited to see it!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 9:25 amThis trailer rocks! I didn’t think it would be possible to find someone to play Edward, but they nailed it!
on June 17th, 2008 at 9:50 amI know that we are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Twilight Movie which is going to great no matter how much it strays from the book. Even though it won’t be as good as the book it will get so close.(i hope)
on June 17th, 2008 at 10:03 amthe trailer isnt working for me but i think i’ve seen it before. i was kinda expecting hotter vampires but i guess they did okay on who the actors are & i’m planning on seeing the movie
on June 17th, 2008 at 10:19 amOMG! I cannot wait to see the movie. However, some of the characters don’t look they way I pictured them in my head. I seem to be the only person that didn’t picture Edward looking exactly like the actor they picked. I guess I’m still stuck on imagining all vampires looking like Spike or Angel.
on June 17th, 2008 at 11:03 amI can’t wait to watch the movie. I’m still a bit iffy about it not being as fantastic as the book.. but no one can compare to the book right? Anyway, I still think it’s going to be unbelievably incredible.
on June 17th, 2008 at 11:45 amI’m always reluctant when books I really like are made into movies, because I’m so often disappointed. So far so good for this one.
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so unbelieveably excited for this movie, its insane. i have watched this trailer 906379674936 times, i know everything and every word. lmfao, i even downloaded to my computer, and on my i-pod, im so excited for the movie. im going to diee when it comes out. !!
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:29 pmOMG I LUV THIS CONTEst! im a big big FAN Of STEPHENIE MEYER AND ALL HER BOOKS! THIS CONTEST IS GREAT PLEASE ENTER ME IN ! YOU GUYS/ GIRLS ROCK! AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!
on June 17th, 2008 at 12:36 pmWhat I really thought the first time I heard Twilight was going to become a movie. I was really going, you’re kidding right? Most of the times, and this is based on my opinion the book is always better than the movie. And the movie is going to leave you baffled, confused, and forcing you to go on a rant about how terrible it was. That’s still how i think Twilight the movie is going to be.
Of course I’m still going to see it, who’s not anyways. It probably might mess up my view on the book afterwards, but hey I might as well risk it all.
on June 17th, 2008 at 1:09 pmYAAY!! I was soo excited when i first saw the trailor!! i think i stopped breathing. i must have seen it like 50 times that day! I watch it almost every day! I think they did an awesome job on the trailor and it made me really really anxious for the movie to come out!!! I AM SOO EXCITED!! yay. I always planned to see the movie even though i think it might not live up to the books but this trailor made me want to see it more and more! oh and just as a side note i love the part where Bella’s like “How long have you been 17?” and Edward’s like “a while.” I dont know why but i love that part!
on June 17th, 2008 at 1:11 pmHey this is for the Stephenie Meyer giveaway!
I love the trailer!! I’m so excited for the movie to come out!!! I can’t wait!! i’m sooo gonna see it!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 1:15 pmI wanna see the movie so bad!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 1:31 pmI love the way Edward has the crooked smile just like the movie!
Oh My Goodness!! It looks sooo amazing! I can’t wait to see the movie. The only part thats strange is the way robert says seventeen in the beginning due to a faulty american accent but no worries- it gets better and its looks SO AWESOME.The best part is the look he gives her after saving her from the van and also the crooked smile near the end. LOVE !
on June 17th, 2008 at 2:01 pmHmmm… well, I was going to see it anyways, even if it wasn’t anywhere near as good as the books, like most book-based movies (I’m a loyal twilight fan
)
on June 17th, 2008 at 2:34 pmBut now I’m starting to think that it’ll be worth it.
CANT WAIT FOR THE MOVEI *SQUEEEEEE* (L)
on June 17th, 2008 at 2:37 pmStephenie ROCKS!!!!!!!!
4th entry to contestttt! lol
haha,im determined to win this contest
The preview for twilight doesn’t look that bad, but I always get disappointed when I see movies that were based on books. I think that this movie might actually be good. The chemistry between Edward and Bella is amazing. Edwards crooked smile is perfect…totally perfect.
45 days till breaking dawn!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 2:41 pmI have been following the making of the movie pretty closely. I think they are doing a good job keeping as real as they can, and the trailer has be 10 times more stoked. My sister and I freaked out when we saw it during the previews when we saw Prince Caspian.
on June 17th, 2008 at 2:53 pmOne…two…three…
on June 17th, 2008 at 3:01 pmYEAHHHH!:D
This was playing with the other previews when I went to watch Prince Caspian.
I’m really scared to see the movie. What if it kills the book(a bad thing) or it might be really great? Im afraid there are going to be a lot of people who see the movie and think they know everything about the book but never read it. Kind of like people with Harry Potter.
on June 17th, 2008 at 4:46 pmIf the book is this GOOD so far, the movie might as well be also great!!
Me and my friend Nicole insainly hyper for the movie!! She even dumped JUSTIN T.(imaginary bf) for EDWARD CULLEN
on June 17th, 2008 at 5:12 pmthis trailer took my breath away. while everyone doubts most of the character line up, i know that anyone who’d butcher this book wouldnt be part of the project. everything about the trailer makes it this much more exciting! its good, and theres just enough to know that its going to be thrilling and the chemistry between robert and kristen is amazing!
on June 17th, 2008 at 5:14 pmEek!
I can’t wait for the movie.
:]
I’m excited.
on June 17th, 2008 at 5:25 pmSo, when I first saw the teaser trailer, I screamed… a good hearty scream, that is.
The cinematography is interesting. It’s dark and gloomy, as is described in the book, but still there’s an essence of the movie “The Covenant” that it hits on.
Edward’s stare is intense, which I’m pleased with. He’s very handsome and he radiates passion in a sense.
I can’t wait until December 12th, that’s for sure!
on June 17th, 2008 at 5:46 pmOH MY BUG!!!! It’s AMAZING!!!! I can’t wait for it to come out in December!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 6:23 pmI cannot wait for the Twilight movie!!!! The teaser trailer is kind of bland, but I believe the longer trailer will be even more amazing.
on June 17th, 2008 at 7:10 pmI’m definately watching the movie. The trailer looks amazing, and in my opinion, Edward is PERFECT. I think they’re doing a great job.
on June 17th, 2008 at 7:36 pmThis trailer is absolutely AMAZING!!! I cannot wait for this movie to come out and when it does I’ll be hyperventilating like crazy. I cannot stop watching this trailer and I wish the movie was coming out sooner than December–the wait is painful!
on June 17th, 2008 at 7:48 pmThe trailer is realy cool! my friends all doubted the producers ability to make twilight into a movie and I think its going to be great!!! though having to wait till december is going to be tough!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 8:36 pmI’m definitely excited for the movie!
on June 17th, 2008 at 8:39 pmI’m hesitant, but seeing all the great clips and the enthusiasm from the cast and seeing how they really fit into their roles, I’m definitely excited. My best friends and I are planning on sleeping over the day it comes out and probably seeing it too that dayyy :]
Haha, we’re making our own Twilight shirts to take. I’ll probably pass out when we enter the theatre, since I’ll probably the most excited [I introduced Twilight to them]. Gah, I can’t waitttt
Oh my gosh they screwed it up! One the guy they got to play Edward is ALL wrong!!! When she asked how old he was they were in her truck! When she said she wasn’t scared of Edward they STAYED in his room and he was no where near her! Edward doesn’t hunt DEER!!!!!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 8:42 pmI personally love Rob as Edward. Theres no way that they could have picked a perfect Edward because, well, that person doesn’t exist. Which sucks of course. But I think he’ll do a good job. I’m definitely watching the movie! I like Kristen for Bella too.
on June 17th, 2008 at 9:00 pmomg it was grate i have watched it way more then i should
on June 17th, 2008 at 9:35 pmThe trailer looks good, I just have on question! Why does Edward jump out of the window with Bella on his back?????????
I can’t wait till the movie comes out, it’s all starting to feel so real, there really his going to be a Twilight movie! YAY!!!!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 9:36 pmWow! Looks good. I hope I can get to the book before the movie!
on June 17th, 2008 at 10:07 pmI’ve watched this trailer so many times I could probably act it out or something (probably not as good as rob and kristen though O_o j/k haha) The 1st time I watched this I think i was on the verge of passing out haha
on June 17th, 2008 at 10:43 pmYAy 4th entry to contest!!!
I’ve watch the trailer so many times, I’ve lost count. Robert Pattinson is going to be an AMAZING Edward. December can’t come fast enough!!
on June 17th, 2008 at 11:02 pmI am so excited to see the movie, especially after seeing the trailer! I’m really curious to see how it turns out! Of course, I’ll always be more devoted to the book than the movie, but it does seem like they are getting most of it right! I’ve heard great things about the actors and their performances! It’s going to be so exciting to see Twilight on the big screen!
on June 17th, 2008 at 11:17 pmOn word. Amazing!
on June 18th, 2008 at 1:48 ami have so much faith in the movie its unreal i think its going to be great just like frosties.clearly its not going to be just like the book i think people need to relax and stop worrying they are in good hands . but if it does turn out to be really bad i definatly wouldnt want to be anyone that was involved in the movie twilighters can be rough lol, i cant wait for the movie its going to be so exciting to see the images that have been in my head on the screen im so excited and im sure everyone else is too we all just need to breathe and relax lolxxxxxxx ahhh im excited
on June 18th, 2008 at 3:47 amOh ick. I’m refusing to see the movie.
#4 on checklist = done.
on June 18th, 2008 at 7:12 amwaaaait. You don’t know what Twilight is?!!?! Blaspheme! ;D
The movie looks amazing. I think they’re putting a lot of thoughtfulness into it, even with changing parts of the story like they usually do for book to movie conversions. Except for Harry Potter, but they have unlimited amounts of money for those movies it seems!
(#4 on the checklist is done!
)
on June 18th, 2008 at 8:00 amI did not watch the trailer since my upload of it was jerky and inaudible on this connection. But I hope I can still have this comment count for the drawing on Stephenie Meyers books.
on June 18th, 2008 at 9:30 amI love the trailer, but I can’t beleive Emmett was the only other Cullen that made it in!
I love the camerawork though!
on June 18th, 2008 at 9:30 am(#4)
Am I the only one who hasn’t read _Twilight_ yet?!? Yes, I’ll see the movie, but only AFTER I’ve read the book!
on June 18th, 2008 at 10:04 amome!!! i love it! of course i am going to see the movie!!! i already watched the trailer 80 times. no joke. i was counting. is that bad?? *insert cute innesent(sp?) face* haha. 4th post!!!
on June 18th, 2008 at 10:18 ami was a little mad. it looks like he’s flying at the end and as we all know, Vampires dont fly! but other than that little detial, it was good to know what’s coming up so that i can decide whether to go to the movie or if it would be a waste of time.
on June 18th, 2008 at 11:22 amTo be honest, I was sceptical that Robert could pull off Edward and disappointed that some excellent parts of the book were being changed. But, after seeing the trailer I now think that there was a method to Catherine’s madness. Most of us have read the books a hundred times and have them memorized. That is why it was refreshing to see a different perspective. It will make the movie something new and will give us greater anticipation. I can see that Robert is Edward.I can’t wait for the movie. I’m like the lady in a Mervyn’s commercial. Open,Open,Open!
on June 18th, 2008 at 11:44 amI, like so many other Twi-hards, will go to see the movie the second it comes out. But i also know that I’m going to be way, way disapointed. I just don’t think the actors can pull it off, and vampires can’t fly, and Emmet doesn’t want Edward to not be with Bella…and the list goes on and on. Oh Well. I guess we’ll see the final result on12.12.08.
on June 18th, 2008 at 11:53 am=]
Oh, I am SOOO excited for the movie. I don’t think it will even come close to being as good as the book, but I’m still excited.
I love this teaser trailer.
on June 18th, 2008 at 11:59 amOh my gosh YES I was going to watch the movie I CAN’T wait till it comes out!!! My friend Haley and I are so excited we really want to go to the on the opening night! I really hope that the Twilight Movie is good! I think it will be! Everyone that I know can’t wait till it comes out!
on June 18th, 2008 at 12:42 pmOh yah I can’t forget that my friend Haley and I memorized all of the lines on the trailer! haha!
on June 18th, 2008 at 12:44 pmI am soo excited! I hope it is good and not another movie/book thing where the movie isn’t as good as the book. Edward is so freaking sexy!
on June 18th, 2008 at 1:35 pmWow… The trailer is really something. There is NO way I am going to miss it! It’s just so…captivating. And the acting skills are really something. Anyways, it IS the Twilight movie so even if it stinks (which I KNOW it will NOT) I would watch it even if begging is required! xD
on June 18th, 2008 at 2:49 pmI honestly don’t know how many times I’ve watched that trailer. The minute that I found it online, I watched it and could not stop. I think I even started hyperventalating at one point…Haha, well, I’m definately going to go see it the very first showing they have at the theaters. I’ve already got a group of friends that are going with me! I’m so amazingly excited and I can’t wait till December 12th!
on June 18th, 2008 at 3:16 pmWhen i saw the Twilight trailer. I was immediately breathless. I couldn’t breath because Edward took my breath away. I think he is going to be excellent Edward. I can feel it in my shoes
on June 18th, 2008 at 3:27 pmI love love love the books, and don’t get me wrong, R-pattz is one gorgeous hunk of meat. But for some reason the mood or something seems… off to me. I am going to watch the movie, NO DOUBT! And even if the movie is terrible, I will watch all the future Twilight films. Im a dedicated fan
but.. still something isn’t right. Ill just have to wait and see the movie for my final desicion.
on June 18th, 2008 at 3:35 pmI love the trailer it’s soo cool!! And even though the mood is much darker than the book ever described I will still see it. I know they have to change and blah blah blah so yeah I think it will still be great!
on June 18th, 2008 at 4:04 pmI LOVE the trailer!!! I’ve seen it a hundred of times, watching every detail lol
on June 18th, 2008 at 4:27 pmDecember is way to far away!!!
i am in love with the trailer,
on June 18th, 2008 at 4:45 pmi have always planned on watching the movie and this trailer made me soo much more excited for it.
however,
i do think that the people who havent read the book will have no idea what the movie is actually about,
but im still even more excited for it !!
DECEMBER 12 !!
I HEART JACKSON RATHBORNE!! (even though he’s not in the trailer) He’s my favourite!!
I think this is a cruel an unusual form of punishment (isn’t that against the Constitution?) I am going to DIE of anticipation!
Why, oh WHY does it have to be December 12th? It’s so far away!! AAAHHH!!!
on June 18th, 2008 at 5:09 pmI know this is a touchy subject but I know for sure that I am going to see the movie. I know I am probably going to yell at the screen the whole time but I’m going to see it.
I understand that to make a movie you have to change the plot. It is almost impossible to please everyone because we all have different imaginations. Also you can’t change everything from book to big screen because with a book you can go on for hundred of pages but how long can you sit in a theatre for? Also you can see everything in the movie, like Bella’s thoughts unless the movie is narrated, which it isn’t!
I hope and think that the people at Summit will make the movie the best it can be.
on June 18th, 2008 at 5:37 pmOMG I was having a spasm attack when I first watched this. Tears were streaming out from my eyes, I was hyperventilating, not to mention screaming in betweeen. And I kept nudging my mom the second time I saw it (when I first showed it to her, because she’s a fan too) and I was just unbelievably happy! I watched it a billion times and I still do. It never fails to give me goosebumps, no matter how many times I’ve seen it. Who knows what my body will do when I actually go see the movie. hah. Maybe paramedics will be involved!
on June 18th, 2008 at 6:32 pm[I hope I’m being put down for the giveaway, as I am following all of the steps on your list. Thanks.]
AHHH! *fan scream* Love the trailer, and I will definitly will be going to go see the movie. The trailer packs so much intensity into such a short time and the hundreds of times I’ve watched it I never fail to get chills. And the music! Sounds like it won’t disappoint. From what we’ve seen the actors look great too…everything looks like its going to turn out well!
on June 18th, 2008 at 7:27 pmI’m pretty excited for the movie. One of my favorite parts of the book is the crash scene and I was really excited to see it in the trailer. I love Edward’s expression right after he realizes what he has done. I think Rob has really become Edward and it will be fun to see him on screen with Kristen Stewart as Bella. So exciting!
on June 18th, 2008 at 7:38 pmI am so excited, it’s crazy. I love Kellan Lutz so much.
His picture is my desktop image… is that wierd? Haha
on June 18th, 2008 at 7:57 pmOME!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THE TRAILER!!! I LOVE THE EERIE FEELING TO IT! i don’t even think words can explain how im excited to watch this movie! but I’m SO going to watch it! i would be crazy if i didn’t!!!
DDD
on June 18th, 2008 at 9:12 pm[[Contest Entry]]
This was pretty nice to see, but it fell flat for me. I think the trailer assumes that everyone is familiar with the series and, while they are wildly popular, some moviegoers are probably clueless. It doesn’t seem to put enough information in it. Though, I have to admit, the end of it is really cute.
on June 18th, 2008 at 11:19 pmMy daughter can’t wait to see the movie!! She loves all of the books, but I still need to read them before I watch the movie!!
on June 19th, 2008 at 5:21 amEnter me
OMG OMG OMG I get goosebumps no matter how many times I watch the trailer. I will be at the theater 12.12.08 and nothing this world or beyond will stop me
on June 19th, 2008 at 7:44 amI am so going to see the movie! The one thing I hate though is it looks like Edward is ‘flying’ not running which i don’t enjoy much =/ but I know the movie can’t be exactly like the book so I’ll get over it
on June 19th, 2008 at 1:05 pm^^^^ totally forgot^^^^^^^^ enter me please =D
on June 19th, 2008 at 1:05 pmI am super excited for the movie! It looks so awesome and I’m sure it will be one of the best movies ever! I can’t wait for DECEMBER 12th!
on June 19th, 2008 at 2:48 pmI am simply stoked for the movie!
on June 19th, 2008 at 3:07 pmObviously, there’s no comparison between it and the book, but I think it deserves some respect and acclaim in it’s own regard.
Robert Pattison doesn’t make the perfect Edward, but I guess he comes pretty close.
My own Edward nominee was Tom Sturridge, but they didn’t do too bad of a job with Robert.
The book is really really good but i dont know about the movie it’s gonna be different!!!! There’s stuff that’s gonna be added. I’m ready to see the movie!
on June 19th, 2008 at 3:56 pmWhy did they do this to us?! Seriously, isn’t it enough to know that it’s being made into a movie anyway and have to wait that long? But to give us just a taste if what it’s going to be like and leave hanging like this?! It’s sooo unfair. like ttaking candy from a baby. Ugh!
I CAN’T WAIT!!
on June 19th, 2008 at 4:02 pmI’m definitely going to see the movie. It looks pretty good! I love the actor they got to play Edward. I’m hoping it comes to IMAX – I think that would be a FANTASTIC place to watch this movie.
on June 19th, 2008 at 5:13 pmI thought this scene was exactly like the book. am very excited to watch it:)
on June 19th, 2008 at 6:52 pmRansom Spunk got the crooked smile perfect!!!!
I’m counting down the days until the movie. I’m excited not only as a fan of the books, but as an aspiring movie maker. The footage alludes to something more fantastic.
on June 19th, 2008 at 9:39 pmI LOVE this scene! Especially the part when Edward jumps out of the doorway with Bella on his back.
on June 20th, 2008 at 10:51 amI’m counting down the days and telling all my friends about the movie (and probably annoying them a bit too, haha)
I must have watched it fifty times dissecting it. I think he is the perfect Edward. I’ll be there opening night.
on June 20th, 2008 at 10:57 amOMG!!! of course I’m seeing the movie. I work at a movie theatre and I was the the room where they keep the movie posters. i was browsing through the new posters, and my eyes were drawn to one poster. Lo and behold!! It was the Twilight poster. It took all out of me not to steal it!! I was also going to quit my job after the summer, but when i heard the movie release date, I decided to keep my job because i get to see movies for free. I knew I would see the movie like… 10 times. By the way, I love that Cedric is Edward, and I really like the actor playing Emmit. I think he was very well casted.
on June 20th, 2008 at 11:38 amoh! I forgot! I am really excited that they are putting in a seen of the vampires hunting. that was something I was always curious about. I also think Edward has the perfect crooked smile. I scream every time I watch this trailer!!
on June 20th, 2008 at 11:43 amOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!! this is soooooo totally awesome! i cannot WAIT to see the movie!!! it almost looks as good as the book!!!! (plus Edward is PERFECT)
on June 20th, 2008 at 11:57 amIt looks better than I thought it would be, but I am not sure if I will watch it yet…I am still on the fence. I generally am not a fan of movies based on the books after I read them…plus Edwards is much more gorgeous in my head, haha.
on June 20th, 2008 at 12:07 pmyou dont even know!!!! i am skipping school that whole day and going to see it every hour for that whole day and then some!!!
on June 20th, 2008 at 1:46 pmSo, yeah i’ve watched this thing like A MILLION times and i sooo can’t wait for the movie. I am soo excited. Though it looks like it will be a little different from the book, i still can’t wait.
on June 20th, 2008 at 2:29 pmomg i have watched this twilight trailer a billion times!!
on June 20th, 2008 at 6:07 pmi am still going to watch it no matter what people say!
and if it sucks i highly doubt it will i am still going to watch it over and over again!!
yeeeh!!
i am so excited for it
and most definitely i am going to enter the contest!
oh yeah!
I really want to see this… it’s almost like I’ve seen that car scene before, though. lol I’ve read Twilight so many times! I really like the actress they chose for Bella, not sure about Edward yet.
on June 20th, 2008 at 6:23 pmI’d love to see this movie! Looks very good
on June 20th, 2008 at 7:37 pmthe movie does look pretty amazing…I’m going to have some trouble watching it though because i would hate for it to be a dissapointment like some based on book movies are…
on June 20th, 2008 at 11:47 pmI can’t wait until the movie comes out i love it I’m going to the FIRST showing…I really don’t want to be dissapointed if it’s not like the book, but it’s looking good so far though.
on June 21st, 2008 at 3:30 pmMy roommates and I are already planning to see the midnight show.
on June 21st, 2008 at 3:49 pmOh yeah, and our favorite way of roommate bonding is talking about the minute details of Twilight (since I’m far behind) and casting the crew of the movie (if we had a choice)
Good times.
on June 21st, 2008 at 3:50 pmOMG, that just gave me chills. The guy playing Edward is EXACTLY how I pictured him to look. This movie looks sooooo good!!! Even the part where he stops the car from hitting Bella is EXACTLY how I saw it when reading the book ie; his eyes, the look etc. This is gonna be a long 6 mos!
on June 21st, 2008 at 11:00 pmthat looks like a mivie i might go and see!
on June 22nd, 2008 at 11:48 ami can not wait to see twilight!!
on June 22nd, 2008 at 11:49 amWhen it comes out it will be the first thing i see!!!!!!!!!
I am now a firm believer that Robert is a perfect Edward. Kristen Stewart I had thought would be a great Bella, but am not so sure anymore. I am definitely watching the movie and dragging my friends with me to the theater.
on June 22nd, 2008 at 1:09 pmI’m not so sure about the choices made as far as actors go- at least not the whole Robert as Edward thing…
I’m also quite certain the movie will be different from the book, I just hope it doesn’t totally mess it up.
In the end, I am definitely a loyal fan. I’ll probably go see it the minute it comes out
So hopefully I’m pleasantly surprised!
[contest entry]
on June 22nd, 2008 at 4:46 pmwow……
on June 22nd, 2008 at 6:38 pmpersonally, i really dont want to watch the movie. like all good books, there’s always a movie to ruin it. i dont really like the actors that were picked, because to me, they dont really fit the part. probably will go see it anyways though, out of pressure from my curiosity, but i wont be thrilled about it…
it just ruins all the mental pictures i had of the characters, i kind of forgot what MY bella & edward looked like, so now, i have this “bella & edward” that i’m not really too warmed about…
anyways, what do i know?? i might get a nice surprise…who knows? i guess we’ll all have to just wait & see…
urs truly!!
p.s. please add this as one of my entries for the contest!!
Sorry, but I can’t watch this trailer until I’ve read the book. Whenever I see the movie first, it ruins the book for me (despite the fact that I often read the ending of a book within the first 50 pages…what can I say?). So *fingers in ears* lalalalalalala….
on June 22nd, 2008 at 9:48 pmI like it, but I think that they should have shown more of the Cullen family. I love the way Robert and Kristen share a look. However, I wish someone else had played Bella.
on June 22nd, 2008 at 9:54 pmPlease enter me into the contest.
That was cool!!!!! Ive read the book and The are both awsome!!
on June 22nd, 2008 at 10:16 pmBased on this trailer, I probably wouldn’t watch it. Guess I need to read the books first.
on June 23rd, 2008 at 12:55 amHmmmm…Well, if I do end up watching it, it’ll be on dvd….when nobody else is home. I can just imagine my husband’s reaction if I asked him to take me to see this (not that we get to go to grown-up movies any more – 2 little munchkins kind of prohibit that). Yeah, no, I don’t think I want him watching it with me anyway.
on June 23rd, 2008 at 7:05 amWow, I hope they do the book justice.
on June 23rd, 2008 at 8:28 amIt is so hard to say off of such a short trailer, but it looks great.
I think the trailer looks good, but I am a bit afraid the movie won’t be as good as the book. Oh well even if I have my doubts I am going to watch the movie.
on June 23rd, 2008 at 1:47 pmI can honestly say that I have seen this trailer a few hundred times haha! I can’t get enough of it. The more I watch it, the more I wish it was December! Bring on Twilight!
on June 23rd, 2008 at 2:44 pmI don’t know, I have a hard time thinking that this will be as good as the books.
on June 23rd, 2008 at 2:49 pmGreat giveaway! Count me in. bebemiqui82(at)yahoo(dot)com
wow this movie looks a lot better than i though now i can;t wait to see it and i can’t wait to see what edward looks like in the sunlight that is gonna look pretty tight
on June 23rd, 2008 at 5:08 pmThat looks amazing! I’d watch it.
on June 23rd, 2008 at 6:51 pmThe trailer looks awesome, but the characters don’t look like I imagined them at all! It happens with all movies based on books though. =)
on June 24th, 2008 at 3:59 amOME!!! I watched the trailer and it’s awesome!!!! I cannot wait till December!!!!!!
on June 24th, 2008 at 1:08 pmWow… is that a trailer for a movie? or just the book? It looks really cool. I’ve got a couple teens and a 9-year-old who’ll probably want to see it. (Actually, my 9-year-old will probably want to more than the other two.)
on June 24th, 2008 at 9:53 pmI’m definitely watching this. I absolutely love the casting of Robert Pattinson. His crooked smile is AMAZING! Kristen Stewart comes off a little strange to me, but I will wait til the movie comes out to pass a full judgment. I hope this does justice to the books– as a huge Harry Potter fan I know the feeling of book-to-movie letdown
on June 25th, 2008 at 2:56 pmI just hope it does the book justice. But YES YES YES I will be seeing it!
on June 25th, 2008 at 5:02 pmoh my gosh,
on June 25th, 2008 at 8:34 pmi CANNOT wait
everytime i watch it,
i get butterflies and feel like i’m about to scream
i smile SO big at the end, when edward flies out the door with bella on his big
i hate that we have to wait six more months for it
I like the trailer.
It makes it hard to wait 6 months..
But weren’t there in the car when they had the “how long have you been seventeen?” conversation.
And is he flying at the end?
It doesn’t make sense to me,
on June 26th, 2008 at 10:13 amBut I guess they has to fill in the spaces because the book is filled with Bella’s thoughts.
And you can get that on camera.
my friend and i were actually debating if we wanted to see the movie or not a couple of months ago because we didn’t want the movie to be horrible and ruin the book. then we decided to see it anyway and watching the trailer just reinforced the idea that we absolutely have to see the movie. can’t wait.
on June 26th, 2008 at 11:09 amI have to say, I really didn’t think Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would be able to do it, but now I’m having second thoughts… I just want to see the movie more now!
on June 27th, 2008 at 7:27 amMy sister and I are going to see this, and I can NOT wait!! I need to hurry up and get a copy of the book to read first. I think the preview looks awesome.
Thanks for including me in your Stephanie Meyer giveaway draw.
on June 27th, 2008 at 12:37 pmMost book-based-movies irritate me because they’re nothing like the books, yet I always end up watching them. Twilight seems different though, they’re definately straying from the book a bit but it still looks good. Can’t wait!
on June 28th, 2008 at 9:21 amThe trailer is amazing. I can’t wait to see the movie. I won’t be surpised if I see the actuall movie just as many times I’ve seen this trailer!!!! My husband can’t talk because he saw ‘Superman Returns’ in theater like ten times. Twilight… here I come!
on June 28th, 2008 at 6:56 pmCan’t decide if I actually want to see the movie, because movies often ruin the books for me….but every so often, I like the movie better, so I probably will see it!
on June 28th, 2008 at 10:38 pmEh, it really sucks that the director didn’t want to copy the book completely. Like when they have the “How old are you?” talk, they’re supposed to be in the care but in the movie they’re in the woods. I hope they don’t wander too far from the storyline…
THE CROOKED SMILE WAS DONE IMPECCABLY!
on June 29th, 2008 at 12:54 amThe trailer is okay.
I’m kind of annoyed that the vampires basically “FLY”, but i guess i can deal with that.
I’m really excited to see the movie. Unfortunately, I have to see it in the global release date, which is Jan12 -_-
I’ll probably wagtch it online, THEN go see it in the cinemas, or maybe not. It’ll ruin the whole CINEMA HUGESCREEN SUSPENSEFUL experience. =)
My friends and I are plannin on reserving like 5 rows in the cinema for people in our grade, and watching it as a year group, together!
Yippeeeeeeeeeeee.
on June 29th, 2008 at 5:08 amI’m going to go see the midnight premiere of this movie (:
on June 29th, 2008 at 11:39 amI honestly can’t wait, although one tiny bit of my brain keeps screaming that it will not be as good as the book.
But i have to go see it anyway because i’m obsessed.
Okay, to me…this is like Harry Potter all over again! Yes, I am going to dress up in some way (mostly like Alice probably ^___^) and yes I am going to the midnight showing! I am going even if I none of my friends go.
My only little thing is, though…Its in DECEMBER!! (Yes, I loathe the coldness with a passion only because my body temperature is about 10 degrees below the normal person’s for some reason >_>). That, and I hate waiting so long. But still, I can’t wait!
on June 29th, 2008 at 12:32 pmoh my gosh… why do we have to wait SO long!!!
that movie looks so amazing and exciting!!!
I really really really can’t wait for it and seeing this trailer for it is just making me INSANE. O_O
thanks for posting it!!
on June 29th, 2008 at 6:25 pmWow,great trailer,I am sorry I have to wait till Dec. to see the movie. This looks so intense and the actors fit the part perfectly.
on June 29th, 2008 at 9:07 pmI am going to see the movie. However, I am unsure if I will like it or not. I have seen the audition scripts for certain scenes, and am petrified that they will ruin it…the only one that was really amazing, was the meadow scene.
on June 29th, 2008 at 9:20 pmI lOVE ????? the trailer!!! It deepens the mystery around Edward and shows the love and the issues Edward has with trying not to eat her and how he wants her to be afraid and leave him alone and love him at the same time. They chose really good clips to highlite and the opening hookline is REALLY good. I CAN’T WAIT TILL IT COMES OUT!!!!!
on June 29th, 2008 at 9:37 pmOkay, so I know this trailer came out almost two months ago, but it STILL gets me every time I watch it. The spooky music, the opening forest scene, the crooked smile…all reasons why I still enjoy watching it again and again. After seeing the first official clip, I am still a bit skeptical about how they’re filming everything and doing the sound effects, etc. But what am I saying? Of course I will see the movie! Even if it was some unknown director with a mediocre cast, I would still have seen it, and bought the DVD, so I can’t wait to see how this turns out!!
on June 30th, 2008 at 11:08 amI’m eager for this…. I really think they know what they are doing and will be (if not absolutely amazing) pretty darn good!
on June 30th, 2008 at 11:39 amI am definetly going to watch the movie. I think it will be good. It wont live up to the book , but it will get as close as a movie can get to being perfect.
on June 30th, 2008 at 1:35 pmI would like to enter the contest. Im pretty sure this is how you said to enter so…yea. I hope I didn’t mess up ^.^;
on June 30th, 2008 at 2:49 pmoh yea and. TWILIGHT ROCKS. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!
on June 30th, 2008 at 2:50 pmLove the trailer, it’s such a teaser! Can’t wait for the movie:)
on June 30th, 2008 at 2:59 pmThe trailer is amazing! I’m so excited for the movie. I was gasping the first time I watched it.
on June 30th, 2008 at 3:45 pmlove the book and i really hope the movie will be just as good. but i kinda wish they would stay more with the book. i mean how can you change perfection?.
on June 30th, 2008 at 3:48 pmOMG I have seen this trailer like over a bajillion times! This makes it a bajillion and one! I can’t wait for the movie though it wont compare to the book at all because the book will always be the best. but I can’t wait to see all the beautiful people like Robert, Kellan, Jackson, and Peter!! oo dont forget Taylor! oh and yes I have to admit Cam is super hot and bad! haha.
on June 30th, 2008 at 4:08 pmThe Trailer was great. I just wish it was a little longer.
I can’t wait for the movie to come out. I’m definitely going to watch it. The trailer was excellent.
on June 30th, 2008 at 4:09 pmI’m really really excited. It’s not going to be the same, but I still think it’ll be really good. It’s one interpretation and I’m interested to see what they did with it.
on June 30th, 2008 at 4:12 pmYES I’ll watch it! O.O I’d be crazy not to. I’m worried out of my mind that it won’t be the same, but I have to go to see it and find out.
Please enter me in the contest, btw! (I’m saying this on all of them, just in case. :O)
on June 30th, 2008 at 4:16 pmSo I was planning on watching the movie anyway, even if I knew it was going to suck. I love the mood they’ve set! It’s perfect and Rob looks amazing…save for the lipstciked lips…
on June 30th, 2008 at 5:12 pmI’ve probley watched this trailer on the movie site probley at least 50 times. lol I get sooo excited every time I watch it i literally wanna just jump around. lol. Actually I have.
on June 30th, 2008 at 5:20 pmEvery time I watch the trailer I have to remind myself to breathe
I am so stoked
on June 30th, 2008 at 5:40 pmW~O~W!!!! i just got dazzled by SPUNK RANSOM! i am so totally going to watch the movie! it is going to be VAMPTASTIC!!! i LOVE the cast! especially rob *sigh*
on June 30th, 2008 at 5:47 pmsexy…… cant wait!!!!!!!!!!! i cant stop watching the trailer!its amazing!
WOW. talk about TENSION! of course, I’m going to watch it! I mean, Emmett falls slightly short of my expectations. DX but I’m sure what he lacks in comparison to the character, he can make up for with his acting. of course he can! he’s got to be worthy to be chosen for a movie like that! right…?
on June 30th, 2008 at 5:54 pmagh, I can’t wait for december!!!
Oh gosh it looks amazing! i can not wait. It really doesn’t show us any of the story but its a great tease. Robert Pattinson will be a great Edward I hope, he wasn’t my first choice but I’m warming up to the idea. Kristen is just Bella to me pretty but not perfect. December 12 can not come soon enough for me. I will be one of thoose freaks there for the midnight showing, in my Twilight t-shirt screaming like an idiot (maybe).
on June 30th, 2008 at 5:57 pmI watch this trailer almost everyday just to get my Twilight fix. I so excited I can’t wait for the movie to come out. I already have friends lined up to go see opening night.
on June 30th, 2008 at 6:02 pmThis trailer literally TEASES you!! You see a flash of Kirsten and Robert, A flash of Kellan, and more snippets of Robert! By gosh, never has my heart beat so fast every time i watch it! To think if it gives me shivers now….what’ll happen when the movie comes out!!??
on June 30th, 2008 at 6:12 pmOh my! I am so going to see the movie. I am of course a little put off by Edward he isn’t really the actor I would have picked but of course many fans think the same thing. I have to see the movie of course and really see Pattinson working along side Stewart hopefuly all together it will be better. I know many fans are expecting it being just like the book but it can’t be some things have to be changed and that is sad but I have faith it will be very similar and I can’t wait till it comes out!
p.s. I have to admit Robert’s little smirk at the end seems to make my heart stop beating and my breath catch. So I know he’ll be a perfect Edward. =]
on June 30th, 2008 at 6:19 pmI love this trailer! I’m so excited
At first, I was like, “Robert, who?”. But after I saw the trailer, I was very excited. Robert portrayed Edward’s crooked smile perfectly
And the intense look he gave Bella after he stopped the car was perfect!
I’m very excited.
on June 30th, 2008 at 6:24 pmI have been following everything that’s been going on related to the movie since I heard they were making one. Of course I know it will not even compare to the book but I think it will be very good and I am so excited to see it (but I am WAY more excited for BD!!!). I’m not going to be disappointed when I see the movie like a lot of people might be because everyone imagines things differently when they read the book, so not everything in the movie is going to please them. I myself am still debating on whether or not I feel Robert Pattinson is a good Edward. When I see the movie I’ll watch it from the eyes of someone who hasn’t read the book so I won’t be so critical. But I love the trailer and can’t wait to see the movie!!
on June 30th, 2008 at 6:25 pmAll I have to say is..I really hope I get to see this!
on June 30th, 2008 at 6:29 pmOoh, I love how they used my favorite lines from Twilight. The ones where Bella asks Edward how old he was and he told her, seventeen. She then asks him how long he’s been seventeen, and he pauses, then says, a while. I adore that scene!
on June 30th, 2008 at 6:34 pm*gasp* this trailer made me want to scream and i am definately not the screaming type. If a trailer made me that excited, I wonder what the actual movie will do…
on June 30th, 2008 at 7:05 pmThe very second this trailer came out I watched it 100 times and couldnt get enough! After about the 35th time I started crying because of how perfect it was! And I kept up with the waterworks till my dad came downstairs and stopped dead just to turn right around and go unstairs! HAHA! Boys just dont know what to do when girls start tearing up! LOL! Really though… This is an AWESOME teaser trailer! THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING IT!!!
on June 30th, 2008 at 7:19 pmi can’t wait for the movie!!!!
on June 30th, 2008 at 7:23 pmi know they’ll do an amazing job! it looks so great already!
Robert Pattinson is the most dazzling human ever, and I think he’s absolutely perfect as Edward!! I can’t wait to watch this movie because of him!!!!!
Definitely have to see. Amazing book series makes for amazing movies.
on June 30th, 2008 at 7:37 pmI cannot WAIT to watch this movie! In the trailer, I think Robert and Kirsten has really portrayed the characters well and they look almost exactly like how I pictured Edward and Bella
on June 30th, 2008 at 7:39 pmI have seen the trailer before.. And I keep on watching it over and over!! It seriously makes me heart pumps everytime lol. I notice some of the scenes that the story might have been changed a bit?
on June 30th, 2008 at 8:04 pmEver since I’ve heard about the movie, I’ve been planning on going. The trailer has me really excited, the casting looks good, and I’m happy that Stephenie is giving them input. Even if it does turn out to be a flop, I think I should be able to keep my own imaginings of Bella and Edward.
on June 30th, 2008 at 8:07 pmI am going insane waiting for December. I think that the movie is going to be incredible. It has great potential. Kristen is going to do a fantastic job.
Include me in the draw for the giveaway!
on June 30th, 2008 at 8:30 pmI originally didn’t want to see the movie… didn’t want to ruin “my” visions of the characters… but…
But when I saw who was playing Edward I thought, okay, I think I’m in and Bella’s casting seems perfect too. Not so sure how I feel about the rest of the Cullen family casting, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
I have to admit though, 2 favourite things from the trailer – the look of horror on Edward’s/Robert’s face when he saves Bella from the van and the sudden realization that he has just given himself away is brilliant! And “You really shouldn’t have said that” followed by that devious grin makes be feel down right cougar-ish! Okay, I’m not that old, but older enough than him… er I mean Peter, not Edward!
on June 30th, 2008 at 9:07 pmIt is so amazing to see the actors in character of Bella and Edward! I’m ten times more excited. The trailer canceled out any of my worries about the movie. They definatley know hwat they are doing.
on June 30th, 2008 at 9:09 pmThere’s no way I’m missing this movie. There is so much buzz about it!
on June 30th, 2008 at 9:22 pmNo way will anything sto me from going to see this movie on opening day! Robert Pattinson is the perfect Edward. The trailer is awesome and I am so excited!
on June 30th, 2008 at 9:36 pmI screamed the first time I saw it. The theaters are going to be so packed the first day!!! It’ll be crazy-good!!
on June 30th, 2008 at 9:42 pmAbsolutely awesome!!! The whole forest scene was different from the book(being as it is in the car) but I like it better this way. And I was totally reading Twilight again the other day (when Edward takes Bella into his room) and thats when she said “I’m not afraid of you” and he said “you shouldn’t have said that.” I screamed out loud cause I was like, that was from the trailer.
on June 30th, 2008 at 10:15 pmI’m so excited now. I can’t wait for the movie to come. They need to realease a new trailer evry week…no scratch that, every day for us die hards who need something to pull us along until December
It’s to SHORT! I want more! In the Length that it is, it’s interesting. It grabs ypur attention. I have a few friends who have never read the book, and don’t even know what it’s about.. and they watched it with me one day. and they were like RACHEL! WHAT IS HE???? I need to know now! I refused to tell them why what it was about, so they all went and got it. They LOVE Twilight now!
Anyways… It’s really good. But I really want more! Lol. I have watched it to manny times, and yet it’s not enough, and I still find more detail each time i watch it.
on June 30th, 2008 at 10:22 pmomg i saw it and im so going to see the movie but im scared that it might ruin the book i hope im wrong though haha it looks amazing.
enter me
on June 30th, 2008 at 10:55 pmOf course I am going to see the movie. I am really excited about what has been shown so far. I am everything twilight. I am a mother of 4 and I absolutely love this series. The movie will be fantastic. You’ll see
on June 30th, 2008 at 11:05 pmok so i bought twilight 2 weeks ago and i googled it just cuz i was curiuos and i saw the trailer and im totally hooked!!!
on June 30th, 2008 at 11:49 pmi cant wiat till the movie comes out.
Wow. I have a feeling that the movie will be great. I can’t wait to see how the cast portray their characters. But I’m not sure about the whole thing about it being action-packed. I didn’t think Twilight was all about the nomads, but that’s cool. lol
on July 2nd, 2008 at 10:55 ami actually think that the trailer looks a little cheesey and edward looks nothing like i imagined him to. edward in the book is supposed to be so perfect but this guy looks like a dweeby version of ryan phillipe. it looks like some high school kids got together and made a film for a class project. i bet they wouldn’t even get a ‘B’ for it.
on July 18th, 2008 at 4:27 amso incase you haven’t got it yet lol i think they shoulf have put a wee bit more effort into this so it would even have a chance to be as good as the books are.
I live in New Zealand and i go to church college. i wasn’t reaaly interested in the book at first but then my freinds kept nagging me to read it so i did and now i love it. i just recieved it on thursday and already i’ve read it 4 times. i know. from not even interested to totally obsessed. well i know for a matter of fact now that all i want for christmas is the 4 books and the movie then i will be so very very happy.
much love, CELESTE xoxox

on August 10th, 2008 at 4:52 pmi will see this video and i have told as many people as i can i even have it on myspace and myyearbook. i think as long as people relate to it they will see it.
on August 22nd, 2008 at 8:12 pmOh no, it seems everyone is happy about this… now this just makes me look like a horrible person! =P jk!
First, let me say that I love Twilight and have read it a lot! I mean, a lotttt!
But: I’m really not excited for the movie at all, I mean, they fly, I don’t like half the cast, and the lines are weird (from a different preview) “It was an adrenaline rush, you can google it…” would Edward say that? Um, Noooo.
Okay, I’m sorry. I’m ranting. Umm, positive stuff: The “scenery” (Forks) is exactly what I thought it would look like, and some of Robert’s expressions are mildly Edward-like.
Peace out.
