I have two sisters in the Salt Lake City area and have had the privilege to visit your beautiful library. It was too short of visit! But also impressive is the park on the roof with the beautiful views. Love it!

That is the most beautiful library I have ever seen! We like our library because it is right on the lake, but it doesn’t hold a candle to this one. And what a haul you got, way to go!

Lisa - They even have all kinds of little shops - a garden shop, book store, cafe, flower shop. I believe that the building itself has won many awards for it’s innovative architecture. I visit our county branch library most often and don’t make it to this one as often as I would like, but when I do, I think, man, how did I get so lucky!

Ok, that is a GOREGOUS building! Our little library doesn’t begin to compare. You got a great haul. I love photos of books almost as much as I love my own stacks. A lot of really popular stuff there too- I noticed 19 minutes, and The boy in the striped pajamas, both of which I’ve seen in the blog rounds lately. Our library sell is always so sad and pathetic that I don’t even bother any more.

Tarie - So I take it that The Westing Game is really good then? I’ll read it sooner than later.

Ivan Girl - Yeah, for this particular contest I have to restrict to those in the U.S. simply because I have ten winners. I can’t take the risk of even half going out of the U.S. If I did, I’d be broke before I know it. But stick around, future contests won’t always be that way.

TheElementary - I love going to the secondhand shop to find “surprises.” It gives you a little thrill.

Tara - Thank goodness no line, but once inside you could hardly move.

Stephanie - Great isn’t it? Don’t make it too often to this one, but I love just going inside. It’s amazing.

Wow, what a fantastic haul. I just went to a book sale and it wasn’t too fruitful. And I even had to wait in line to get in!

What great pictures! I love book sales like this- they remind me that the chain bookstores are just not for me. I like the notion of digging around and finding surprises, not to mention that you can get so many more books for the same money.
I love pictures of people’s book collections. It suffices when I can’t get to a sale myself.
