I found your site through A Reader's Journal and thought I would leave a comment. From the looks of the list in this post, we have very similar reading tastes. There were only two that I hadn't read! So, please enter me into your contest and stop by and visit my site if you have time. If I were lucky enough to win, I would love to have A Fine Balance and The Kitchen God's Wife. I love finding new book lovers with which to share suggestions. Congratulations on your 100th post!

I know I commented before on this but just wanted to add about reading books AGAIN and not remembering how they ended - that's why I started keeping track of what I have read, lol!

Okay, I had to rack my brains for a really long time. It's Jacob. I remember because Sara Gruen has said that the story parallels to the story of Jacob in the Bible. Just don't ask me how because I've no idea. I don't remember the girl's name though.

Were you kind enough to forward me your response? ;) A lot of times I check back to see the responses, but sometimes I forget...

I haven't read anything without remembering whether I've already done so. I keep a pretty detailed list of my books and which ones I've read. I do have a very difficult time remembering plots and characters names for books that I've read. Even books that I've read recently!! It has gotten better since blogging (which is part of the reason why I write my thoughts down). Kind of embarrassing actually. I couldn't tell you the lead character's name in Water for Elephants and I read it maybe 2 months ago...

I kind of stumbled across your blog by accident. I'm a huge sucker for things book-related, so finding you was a treat. There are some great books in your list, as well as some that I've heard good things about.
