I nominate Natsuo Kirino for inclusion in your list of authors! I reviewed Real World on my blog. She is almost as well known as Haruki Murakami, who is already on your list.

Also Cara Black of San Francisco, who writes a mystery series set in Paris. I reviewed her latest, Murder in the Latin Quarter.

I'm not sure that any of his other books are worth reading but "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel is excellent and I think there are quite a few reviews out there for it.

Got them all! Give me some time. My in-laws are here for the week, so I probably won't be touching it until after their gone. But I'll get them up.

Anybody else?

Your book reviews are a great resource! How about Isabel Allende, Nicholas Sparks, and Karen Kingsbury? I love Lucy Maude Montgomery as well as Ernest Hemmingway.

Thanks for adding my favorites,
Michelle

Oh oh oh! I'd like to "nominate" Margaret Atwood (The Handmaid's Tale, The Blind Assassin, Oryx and Crake, The Robber Bride, Alias Grace, Cat's Eye, etc etc). I'll have to think of some other authors.

Reading this post reminded me that I was supposed to have e-mailed you about the database but then never did. I'm so sorry, it completely slipped my mind. I can be forgetful like that, which is why I sometimes e-mail reminders of things to myself, but of course that sometimes I forget to do even that.

Some favourites of mine that are not on the list: Jeffrey Eugenides, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Ursula Le Guin.

Thanks so much for doing this. It's such a useful database!
