A Couple of More Challenges

Well, I can’t help myself. Not only do I have my own crazy 52 books in 52 weeks TIMES three personal challenge, A-Z Title and Author Challenge, and the Young Adult Challenge, so I might as well join these two challenges because they sound like too much fun without the extra reading!

Callapidder DaysCallapidder Days 2008 Spring Reading Thing hosted by Katrina. Simply read any amount of books in any genre between March 20th and June 19th. Sound easy! Especially as I’ve been averaging about 10-15 books a month this year (let’s see if I actually keep up the pace!).

I Am the Messenger by Marcus Zusak
Princess Academy by Shannon Hale
Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Fablehaven by Brandon Mull
Mud City by Deborah Ellis
The Translator: A Tribesman’s Memoir of Darfur by Daoud Hari
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs
The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
Criss Cross by Lynne Rae Perkins
The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs

.
Non Fiction ChallengeAnd the Non-Fiction Five Challenge from Joy! I’ve mostly been reading parenting books and memoirs so I might as well get in on the fun of this one! And I have until September. Double bonus. My list as it is now, it may or may not change:

.

Born on a Blue Day: Inside the Extraordinary Mind of an Autistic Savant by Daniel Tammet
Christlike Parenting: Taking the Pain Out of Parenting by Glenn I. Latham
I Am a Mother by Jane Clayson Johnson
The Translator: A Tribesman’s Memoir of Darfur by Daoud Hari

  6. Looks good, Natasha. I’m amazed at how many challenges you have going on! I really liked My Sister’s Keeper, and I’m curious about Friday Night Knitting Club and Pillars of the Earth (though the sheer length of Pillars has been intimidating me!). Thanks for being part of SRT ‘08!
