  1. When your computer has a major meltdown and crashes, you don’t know what to do with yourself.
  2. You call your husband at work to have him read your newest comments to you over the phone.
  3. It’s been four days without a post or book review and you’re wondering if anybody has noticed.
  4. You are seriously considering flying your brother halfway across the country to do a major fix and upgrade to your now defunct computer.
  5. You have now three finished books that you haven’t blogged about yet.
  6. You go to your local library to use the computer just so you can type this list up.
  7. You haven’t been able to check your email for days and are shocked when you have a billion new Google alerts in your inbox.
  8. You check your Google reader and find that after four days you have about 500+ new unread blog posts.
  9. You have now idea what your daily stats are and it’s driving you crazy!
  10. You notice how neglected the house has been getting and now have created an enormous to do list to make up for all the new time you have on your hands.
  11. You have no idea how your going to manage to link your latest posts to Sherry’s Saturday Review of Books when Saturday rolls around (if you have any book reviews up by then)

Okay, so that’s eleven. And I don’t even have time to write up a real book review because the library closes in 10 minutes!! I’m going to cry . . . .

Hey you! Yes. You! I've noticed that you've stopped by to visit a few times! But I don't know who you are. Why don't you take a moment and introduce yourself. Don't be scared. I try not to bite. I know you're a lurker but I'd love to hear your thoughts about what's been bringing you here. And if you haven't done so already, don't forget to never miss a post by subscribing to my feed or receiving updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

  2. I’ve gotten committed to posting every day and have an hour set aside each morning and evening just for blogging activities! I always thought that if my computer died I could just go to the library, but it really would probably be impractical and frustrating! Hope yours gets fixed soon.

For some reason, Askimet Spam is giving me a lot of false positives. Even to those who have left me many comments before. So if you leave a comment, hit submit, and it seems to go the way of the wind, don't resubmit it. I'll catch it and publish it. Also, if you leave 2 or more links in your comment, it automatically goes into moderation. I'll catch that too.

I love and invite your comments. I thrive on them. But by posting a comment, you agree to not post off topic, defamatory, obscene, abusive, or use language that is not family friendly. I have the right to remove such comments and prevent you from leaving comments in the future. That said, comment away!
