Love Your Library on Valentines Day

Love the LibraryHappy Valentines Day! Did you know that this month is Library Lover’s month? Don’t forget to tell your local librarians how much you love and appreciate them today! Find out how you can love your library by clicking on the logo to the left.

I go to the library three times a week for storytime. Read more about how much we love it there. Needless to say, I appreciate all the librarians. Late last night I came up with a fun, cute idea that we are going to carry out today. I’m simply going to drop anonymous (I guess if they’re reading this, the mystery is solved) heart messages into their book drop box outside. Not much, but it’s the least that I could do.

Oh, and my love goes out to my sweet, sweet husband, too.

Hey you! Yes. You! I've noticed that you've stopped by to visit a few times! But I don't know who you are. Why don't you take a moment and introduce yourself. Don't be scared. I try not to bite. I know you're a lurker but I'd love to hear your thoughts about what's been bringing you here. And if you haven't done so already, don't forget to never miss a post by subscribing to my feed or receiving updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

  1. Libraries are great! I thought I was seriously missing out living abroad, until I finally discovered that the Haarlem library has a decent collection of English language fiction. No comment on why it took me 3 years to figure it out… Just one complaint, though. You actually have to pay for a library membership here. Guess we’re a bit spoiled in the US. But no matter – books to read without books to store is always great!

  3. notablogger – We lived in our new town for a year before we started going to our library. Now I’m there ALL the time. In fact we canceled our Netflix subscription because we can get any movie we want and I don’t mind paying the occasional late fee.

alisonwonderland – Thanks for coming by too! Austenland is on my desk right now waiting for it’s review. I hope to write it up today at some point.

For some reason, Askimet Spam is giving me a lot of false positives. Even to those who have left me many comments before. So if you leave a comment, hit submit, and it seems to go the way of the wind, don't resubmit it. I'll catch it and publish it. Also, if you leave 2 or more links in your comment, it automatically goes into moderation. I'll catch that too.
